"I'm BAAAAAAACK!"

Keith was sitting at a small desk, reading a extremely thick book. Without even turning, "hi lance."

"I brought like the whole magic section, annnnnnd.... a history book!!!"

He got up, blushing slightly, "really?! Yes yes! I'm so excited to read I- I mean... thankyou."

"No problem! And i brought some pastries too, strawberry flavored. I had a feeling you'd like strawberry."

Keith's face steamed, "y-yeah... what a lucky guess. Strawberry was my favorite as a kid. B-but I dont need to eat....so--"

"But you can! What's stopping you?"

"Idk, calories?"

"Oh yeah eating once every thousand years will go straight to your thighs."

Lance handed him a dessert and keith took it, taking a small bite, "fair enough. You've made your point."

"Good. I'll just put this bag over here."

×a few days later, they sat around reading the new books×

Keith finally built up the courage and looked up from his book,  "h-hey lance?"

"Hm?"

"Do you know what love feels like?"

"Probably not. I thought I loved someone once, and we dated for a bit. It was fun at first, but we soon realized we were from such different worlds."

"Like you and i?"

"No. Not like that. Our personalities just kinda clashed I guess. Shes a couple years older than me too, so that didnt help. I was just a kid to her. Actually, maybe a little. Shes altean, so I couldnt really relate with her"

"Oh?"

"It took me a while to get over it, but I'm okay now. Why'd you ask? Got some princess in mind?"

"Mmm, not quite."

"I wont ask. That's your buisness."
