~48. Bloody Mess~

Ethan's POV

Monday, the worst thing that God ever created. I checked my phone and realized that it was already 7.45. I had to get up if I didn't want to miss the first period. I went to the bathroom to freshen myself and after I put clothes on I headed downstairs.

-"Good morning Gray," I said as I grabbed a bowl and the cereals.

-"Morning E," Grayson said and continued scrolling his Instagram page.

-"Are you looking for a hot chick or something?" I said smirking.

-"I just broke up dude. Why the fuck do you believe I would do something like that?" He said annoyed.

-"Sorry, bad timing."

-"It's okay. Just try not bringing Nessa up for the next days."

-"Yeah, sure," I said patting his back. "We have to go, though, so get your ass up," 

-"God I hate school. And it is still fucking Monday."

-"Yeah, I know. Now come." I said and we headed outside.

-"I will ride my motorcycle, so see you there."

-"See ya," Gray said and I started driving.

~At School~

As I was going to my class I spotted Nessa talking to Alex. They must be friends, nothing more, I said to myself. I swear I never liked this boy. 

After trying to decide if they are talking friendly or flirting I saw them getting really close to each other. 

-"I thought you were better than this," I said as I got closer to them.

-"What is that even supposed to mean?" Nessa asked.

-"You broke up with Grayson a couple of days ago and you are now flirting with another guy? Did Grayson mean nothing to you?"

-"Of course he did," Nessa said whining.

-"Yeah, sure," I said with irony.

-"She can do whatever she wants. What is your problem?" Alex said and stepped forward.

-"Stay out of this Burriss. It's none of your business." I said and pushed him back a bit. I started getting really mad at that point. Nessa was everything that Grayson had and she just dumped him for no reason.

-"You bet your ass it is."

-"You are just her friend, nothing more."

-"Boyfriend, to be exact," Alex said and that's when I lost it.

-"You fucking slut you cheated on my brother. That's why you broke up with him didn't you?" I said almost yelling. 

-"You don't get to talk to her like that," Alex said.

-"I thought I told you to shut up," I said and landed my fist on Alex's face. He immediately fell on the ground with blood dripping off his nose.

-"ALEX," Nessa said kneeled to help him.

-"What the fuck did you do to my brother." Someone said from behind me and before I could even see who it was I got punched on the jaw. 

I opened my eyes and saw Aaron standing in front of me with blood on his fist. I touched my mouth and realized that my bottom lip was bleeding... a lot.

-"You are going to pay for this. This is for punching my brother." He said and kicked my right rib. "And this is for stealing my girlfriend." He said and punched me again inches above my eye.
