Chapter 3 - Who is She?

Malaina's POV

I wake up... yet again, from my wonderful nap to someone shaking me like a rag doll. What the hell?

I quickly sit up and turn to look at the person who shook me out of my sleep. It was Luca.

"Get up, sleeping beauty. Time for dinner. Adriano had me come get you." He says while picking up a pillow and hitting me in the head.

"Oww, asshole! I'll be down in a minute!" I yell swing my hand at him, in an attempt to hit him back

"Okayyy, if you say so." He says dodging my hit. I began to glare at him as he proceeds to walk out the door.

He's annoying... I thought to myself while getting out of bed

I get out of bed and make my way to one of the dressers in the room for a pair of socks. I look through the dresser and found a pair of white socks. I quickly put them on only to realize how big they were on my feet. I sigh and pull the socks all the way up to my knees. If I'm going to be living here, I better get a fucking new wardrobe, I'm tired of wearing these damn clothes. And no I didn't decide to change into the clothes that are in the drawers. I need to make a statement. I don't get why some people change their clothes just for dinner? Like what's the point? You're only gonna take it off in the next hour. You're just wasting clean clothes. But hey, what you do before dinner is none of my business

I make my way downstairs and walk into the kitchen, to see it completely empty. What the hell? I thought while looking around the kitchen. Where is everyone? I walk to out the kitchen and into the grand dining room next to the kitchen. When I walk in I see Luca, Adriano, and 4 new people. Once I grab a chair to sit down everyone suddenly notices me and turns to look at me.

"May I help you all? Stop staring at me like that, you're all acting as you've never seen a black person before." I say as I sit down looking at each and every one of them.

"I like her." Says the blonde, sitting next to Luca

"Why thank you."

"I'm Bella by the way and this is Sofia," She says gesturing to the brunette across the table from her.

"Hi." She says with a blush while smiling

Aww, she's so cute and innocent... She won't be anymore if we become friends...

"I'm Malaina"

"And these two dumbasses are Lorenzo and Matteo," Bella says pointing to the boy next to her and the one sitting next to Sofia. I shift in my seat to get a good look at them and they were the same men who were with Adriano the night I was kidnapped. And let me tell you, girl, boy were they hot as hell. Not as hot as Adriano but you get what I mean. I wink at Lorenzo once I look at him and he smirks at me.

What? I might as well have some fun while I'm here...

"Okay. Enough with the pleasantries. Let's eat." Adriano decides to suddenly say. I look at him only to see anger written all over his face. I didn't really care much, whatever was wrong with him was his problem. We began to eat dinner in silence when Sofia decides to speak up.

"So Mal... Can I call you Mal?"

"Sure" I respond

"How'd you meet Adriano?" Sofia says raising an eyebrow

"Oh, I was kidnapped" I bluntly state while biting into a piece of chicken

"WHAT!?" Sofia and Bella yell across the table

"Yep. Why don't you tell them about it, Adriano? I'm sure they would love to hear how you kidnap me from my family. My life!" I say across the table to Adriano in a sassy manner
