Malaina's POV
So here I am, sitting in Adriano's bed, staring at the ceiling. After waking up in Adriano's bed once again, I've just been sitting here thinking about my situation.
"Ughh! Why me? Why must someone come after me?" I turn on my side causing Adriano to glance up at me from the desk in his room. I don't understand why he has so many desks around this place.
"Because you're associated with me. You're something important to me; a weakness. That's why." He puts his pen down and walks over to me sitting on the bed slightly and begins taking off his shoes
"Well maybe-" I say glancing at him
"Maybe what?" He pauses taking off his shoes and turns to look at me with a raised eyebrow
"Well maybe we can stop being 'associated'."
"No fuck that. Are you stupid?" I put my hands in a surrender motion and stand up from the bed
"Damn... It was just a suggestion. Shit"
"Don't say stupid shit like that again" He throws his shoes across the room and walks into the bathroom with an annoyed face.
Well I pissed him off... great, I thought
Walking out of the room to give him space, I head downstairs to watch TV in the living room. Once I get to the last step on the stairs towards the living room I'm stopped by the front door being slammed open. I jump in fright and slightly slip off of the last step on the stairs.
"What the fuck?!" I walk further into the living room and look towards the door and in walks Valentina.
"Just great, I hate this bitch" I whisper to myself while mentally rolling my eyes
Walking towards the door I'm instantly hit with Valentina's bitchy attitude.
"Why are you here?" Because I live here
"Why are you still breathing?" I murmur to myself
"What was that?" She raises an eyebrow while pointing one of her crusty fingers in my face
"Oh nothing, I asked what are you doing here?" I tell her lying straight threw my teeth
"I'm here for Adriano. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go find him" She says looking up the stairs. She begins to go around me but I quickly push her head back by her forehead causing her to stumble back slightly
"Back the fuck up, becky. You're not going anywhere."
"Hey! You bitch! You could have broken my neck!" She says grabbing her neck in pain
"But did you die though?" I ask her, slightly raising my eyebrows in question. Dramatic, I swear
"Why you little-" She begins but I interrupt her mid sentence
"Call me a bitch again... I fucking dare you" I step up to her tall stature with my fist balled ready to beat her ass if she said something smart.
"Whoa! Malaina!" Enzo says walking through the front door. Once seeing the situation I was in Enzo instantly began pulling me away from Valentina
"What the hell is going on?" I hear a deep husky accented voice say from above me
All 3 of us snap our heads up the staircase towards Adriano. And that's when Valentina decided to grace all of us with her dramatics
"Baby! Oh baby! This witch just tried to kill me! You have to throw her out! She almost broke my neck and it was on purpose! I swear!" She yells running to Adriano, whom has finally made it down the stairs. Falling into his arms, she wraps her arms around his neck.
