Once again, skipping ahead!
Three years had passed, You and Hōkusu were finally Pro hero's. The school years had passed by so quickly in your mind. No more people to tell you what's wrong with your life.. no more stressing out with teachers and annoying kids your age or older. It was amazing.
Hōkusu's hero name was now Hawks. You liked it and started calling him that now. When you went to present your hero name, Hawks just loved it so much. You chose a name that took after your mom, Blue Wing.
Now you have a license and can earn money from catching villains and saving peoples lives. Soon enough you'd be in a house with Hawks, living the life you finally got to have. Your an adult so no one can tell you what to do or think, like a little bird that had left the nest. Well.. that's what Akiara said.
It was your fourth night patrolling after you had received your hero license and Hawks already stared up a small agency that you were apart of as well.
The night was silent apon the rooftops except for the rushing of cars. The stars were out and it was a beautiful sight to see. You and Hawks patrol both day and night on certain days of the week. Today you both patrolled all day because you had to admit, you had nothing better to do.
Hawks was kneeling down by the edge of the building right next to you, careful eyes scanning the alley ways and streets for any sign of villain activity.
You glance over at him, taking in the sight of the moonlight outlining his features. What you were seeing was a picture perfect moment.
He looks up from the ground and over to you, his eyes visible through his visor. You smile and you stick your tongue out with a little 'blep' noise.
Hawks smiled back and kisses your nose, making your cheeks create a tint of blue on them.
Your relationship with Hawks was the best thing you could ask for. Your not too sure if it grew or stayed the same over the years tho. Yes he would peck your lips everyday and kiss your forehead, hold hands with you in public, and take night flights to enjoy the nice air and light breeze... but nothing more, nothing less.
After the small laughter that you started up, both of you went back to doing your job. It wasn't long until you caught something moving in the dark alley below, there seemed to be more than one.
"Hawks, down there" you whisper and point to the moving figures below, just visible with the moonlight over head. Hawks sees them and nods to you. You both take off and glide down to get a better look without making a sound.
You landed on a lower part of the building and got down so you would some what blend in with the roof. Your hero costume wasn't much, you wore black combat boots, black leggings and shirt that showed off your curves, and a bullet proof/fire proof vest that surprisingly wasn't heavy at all so you didn't have to carry more weight as you ran or flew. You had gloves to control your fire quirk but fingerless to exceed your magic, and an added addition (Hawks suggested it) some night vision goggles that can turn into sunglasses as well during the day.
(I have forgotten about the hero costume I posted in the first chapter sooo.... can you please forget about that? Thanks...)Hawks gets close to you and whispers as lightly as he could. "How many do you see?"
You zoom in with the goggles and focus on the green figures through the lenses.
"I see five.. they're heading down the alley to an old and abandoned motel.." you whisper back. He nods and thinks for a second.
"I'll surprise them at the end of the alley, you come in behind to take out the first few" He says. In situations like this, he's serious. You nod and watched him take off and go around so he could meet the five guys at the end of the alley. You quickly glide over to the other side and continue down the building.
