{Jenna's POV}

I heard thumps coming down the stairs I looked up

"Oh good morning David, have you seen Katy at all this morning?"

"No, but I saw that she slept on the couch last night. ...she only does that when something is up"

"Oh okay, thanks" I said and ran back into my room. My phone went off and it was a text from one of my good friends, Lexi, as I was checking it, I checked the time:

The date and time read. Oh. Shit. I. Completely. Forgot. Today was Katy's birthday. Honestly at the moment, I don't really care about the past, I just wanted to know where she went. I walked down stairs to be greeted by David again

"David?"

"What do you want, Jenna?!" He responded taking about the Cheerios

"Where does Katy normally go when she needs to cool off her feelings?" I asked trying to act polite and calm to not get him suspicious or grumpy

"Ummmm the beach probably, why?"

"Oh no reason, you'll see" there was actually nothing to see, just an excuse so he wouldn't bother me about it. I made my way back up the stairs, again, there goes my daily workout. I walked into my room and pulled out a cute top, with some denim shorts to go with it, and slipped on some white Vans. I made my way back down the stairs, and opened the front door

"Going to the beach with Lexi, be back in an hour" I yelled, some of that was a lie, I wasn't going with Lexi, but there was no way in hell mom would let me go alone, nor would she allow me to use 'hate'

*10 minutes later*

I finally made it to the beach. I slipped off my vans and felt the goodness of the sand between my toes, awh so nice to be back. I started walking along the beach, it was kinda early, so only a few people were here, those are the only nocturnal-surfers as we call them. I looked up and I saw a girl, looked like Katy and she was curled up with her face dropped down to her knees in her hands
