How do you feel when someone close to you do not recognize you? Hurt? Shattered? Lost? Heart broken? Saif felt the same in that moment. He couldn't just bring himself to the point to actually believe that his wife didn't recognise him. He wanted to cry out loud and try getting all their moments back to her but he knew he couldn't. It wasn't in her hand nor his.

He looked at Safa who was looking g at him without any emotion on her face. He couldn't help but smile looking at her, remembering their each and every moment spent together. The time spent with her were the best memories in his life. He looked at her trying to take in her every feature.

Her dark brown eyes that captivated him. Her smile that had the power to melt him. Her laugh that soothed his soul. Her blush that made him alive. Her pout that made him kiss her. Everything about her made him love her. He couldn't just stop loving her because she didn't recognise him.

Everyone in the room gawked at Safa trying to understand whether she was serious or was just playing around the bush. But her face didn't have anything. She had a poker face, looking at Saif only.

"I'm S-Saif." He whispered clearing his throat while she raised her eyebrow at him.

"Saif who?" She asked and he looked at everyone who were looking at him with a look that he hated the most. Pity. Sympathy.

"I..." He didn't what he should tell her.

Whether he shoulder tell her the truth or just something that wouldn't harm her.

"He is my boss." Safa's father said and Safa nodded her head.

"Good morning sir." She said and Saif gulped a lump.

"But why is he here?" She whispered to her father eyeing him.

"He is here to see you." He said and Safa looked at her father and back at him.

"Oh you didn't had to." She said smiling at him and he smiled back her feeling his heart racing.

"I had to." He whispered.

"How are you feeling?" Rida asked Safa and she looked at her grinning.

"Alhamdulillah better." She said and Rida smiled at her.

"Did Rehan reach safely?" She asked Rida and Rida raised her eyebrow at her and Safa realised what she asked and shook her head pleading.

Rida glared at her best friend and turned to everyone who hadn't realise what she had just said.

Before Rida could say anything the doctor entered the room with a bright smile on his face.

"I see you are strong enough to talk to so many people at once." The doctor asked and Safa smiled at the doctor.

"They make me strong." She said looking at everyone and they smiled back at her. Her eyes flickered over to Saif who was standing in a corner looking at her with worried eyes. She couldn't help but smile looking at her husband's care for her. She knew the moment he comes to know about her little play she would be doomed but she loved playing with him.

"Well, they make you strong and you make them weak." The doctor said eyeing Saif while reading her papers.

"You are absolutely fine to go home." The doctor said and Safa grinned at him.

"But Mr Khan, just take care of her medications." The doctor said turning to Saif and Saif looked horrified in between the doctor and Safa.

"But why will he take care of my medicines?" Safa asked innocently trying to control her laughter while she looked at Rida who shook her head at her tantrums.
