My love, I'm sorry for writing all these poems about you,
But what am I supposed to do when my feelings are still so true?
Back then knowing you still loved me and still cared,
Made it easier for me to bear,
Now that you're completely over me,
My feelings feel like a curse that'll last eternally,
Oh I had tried so hard to be worthy of you,
I tried to become the best of me that I could be just for you,
Like we promised I wanted to be your forever and always,
Just like all the promises we made, I wanted us to stay,
I never thought there'd come a day,
That you'd move on and walk away,
When people ask me how am I,
I say, "I'm amazing," which is partly a lie,
I can't hold it in, I must confess,
I still wish to once again be your princess,
I want to relive our good times without the bad for sure,
I wish I could amaze you once more.
