I accidentally published this chapter but I took it down in a snap because I realized that there are some things I want to add.

Just a short filler for the next chapter because the next one is full of surprises.

I'm posting early because for this week till first week of june, I'll be busy because I got weddings and relative reunions to do.

I don't want to interrupt my quality time with them because I'm writing my ass off for the ending of Bye Bye Baby.

Question for my dear readers:

Do you still see that Zoe and Max can together at the end? Why or why not?

Do you think that they still deserve each other?

I'm revising the last chapter and epilogue.

Zoe woke up with a jolt, her face was dripping with sweat, even her bed sheets and shirt was covered from a nightmare that was becoming a permanent thing in her life.

She turned her head to the bedside table and stared at her victorian style clock, it was only 6:00 am, some may find this time to goddamn early to wake up but for Zoe, who wakes up from a nightmare is already in her morning routine or time to get up and take a cold shower and start another cycle of things that she don't give a shit now.

She moved her comforter to the other side of the bed, she swiveled her body so that her feet touches the carpeted floor because if she stayed idle, she will become preoccupied with the memories of the tragedy.

Zoe grabbed her towel that was hanging at the back of the door and slung it on her right shoulder. She slowly dragged herself inside the ensuite bathroom, as she closes the door. She turned her body in front of the mirror then she slowly peeled her top off followed by her bottoms leaving her with just a cotton panty and ratty bra.

She studied herself on the mirror. She thought that the girl in front of the mirror was totally different from the pictures that were hanging along the hallway of their medium sized home that she was currently residing in.

The girl that she was looking right now, has a dull untamed brown locks that was left to be like that without having a brush glide on it.

The girl in front of her, carries a set of dead green orbs that was far from the mossy green before, it carries the loneliness of the world and the way it looks was empty and deep.

The girl in front has a face with red bloodshot eyes, it was so puffy that it was turning into a pair of slits and looked dried up after wiping away the tears harshly that betraying its owner's order not to fall. The lips were chapped and dry, it looks like she was trapped in the middle of the Sahara desert with no rescue coming for her. Her cheeks were tear strained and covered with a red tint from over crying.

After she was done scrutinizing her face, her eyes travelled down to her body.

It was hideous and ugly, she thought.

The girl in front of her was flabby especially around the mid-section. There was this long horizontal line just between her under belly and the upper part were her privates were rested. It was a reminder of the girl in front of what she would have been supposed to be in a matter of months; a mother.
