Chapter 36: Let's Forget What Happened

The left part of my head hurts, when I woke up the place is all white. I'm in a hospital, so I survived that car accident. I held my forehead and it’s wrapped in bandages. My eyes wander around at the room then door opened and it was Jerome.

"How are you JR?" He greeted me

"Why are you here JC?" I asked

"Why do you keep on asking me like that when I'm around? Don't you want me here?" He asked

"No" I said

"Ouch! That hurt my feelings" he held his chest pretending he's hurt

"You're just wasting your time here JC go back to Liana, she might get worried about you" I said in a cold voice

Those words made my heart ache; it’s more painful than the bruise and broken arm I got. I can't believe I said that.

"Wow! I knew Liana made the wrong choice, I feel sorry for her" Jerome said. What is he saying?

"I don't understand" I said

"For a Superstar you're slow JR" Jerome laughs "Liana picked you over me you dumb ass!"

"But I heard what Liana said at the garden" I said

"That's probably true but you didn't give her the chance to explain anything, you assumed already, you've been paranoid like a girl!" his voice became serious "I thought when I change myself and come back here I'll still have her heart. It turns out that you took it under my nose!" he said.

"I didn't even know her when we met; I didn't know that she is the girl you've been talking about." I sat on the bed "Just so you know JC, I didn't stole Liana's heart" I said

"Then what?" Jerome asked looking at me

"Because she is the one who stole mine" I told him

"Okay that's enough, I already feel bad of losing the girl that I love from you" he laughs but his eyes are already teary. "I got a lifetime favor for you JR" he said 

"What is it? As long as it's doable" I said 

"Please take care of Liana, protect and love her at all cost or else I'll take her back from you" he said seriously

"Even though you didn't ask that favor, I'll love her for the rest of my life" I smiled. I can't believe it! She picked me!

"Yeah, you love her so much that after the accident you still called her" Jerome said

"What? I called 911" I said

"Better check your phone" I took my phone from the table beside me. I looked at its logs and it’s Ana's name that is on the top. So I really did call her.

"Where is she?" I ask Jerome

"She's still unconscious"

"What?! Why?!" I shouted

Jerome's flash back

Liana Calling......

"Hello Liana" I picked up the phone

"Jerome I need you here at St. Luke’s Hospital" Liana said

"What happened?" I asked

"It's Jayden, he's caught in a hit and run, Please go here as fast as you can" Liana said almost crying

"Okay, stay put I'll be there" I immediately went to my car and straight to St. Luke’s
