Why so many miles?

Why does it feel like we can never close this distance?

I run and run but it's never enough to reach you
I run faster and faster but it's never fast enough to reach you

Why cant we just outrun this distance?

I want to be with you
But how?
How can we get rid of all these miles between us?
Why does there have to be so many of them?
