you're falling, my love

Bright the world is, as the moon kisses the ground

As we lie on it, with our fingers entwined, staring into the milky way of the other's eyes

Rocky roads lead up to the cliff we lay on

Right to where our lips meet and our breaths mingle...or do they?

I still see us there but in truth, it is only me under the starry belt because

Caressing my heart and my lips is not you anymore, as you are

Ash, and only ash because you are

Dead and buried under the earth

Ever since I found you cheated and broke my heart and I sent you

Soaring off of the cliff, your name still imprinted on my lips.

A/N: So, classic me style, that took a dark turn. This is the first time I have written a poem on this website, and the first time ever writing an acrostic, so any critiques/comments are appreciated.
