Oh what a jolly eve, it was! You and the rest of the Fellowship of the Ring had paused your journey for just one night in Rohan. The king of the land had been returned to his right state of mind by Gandalf's power and all the people wanted to rejoice. Your good friends Merry and Pippin got a little too drunk at the grand celebration in the king's halls and leaped up on a table to dance and sing. They made up a ballad on the spot, about your beauty and grace, and belted it out for all the townsfolk and nobles to hear and see. You shook your head, cheeks flushed at their praise as you laughed at their antics.
"Think they'll regret it in the morning?" you asked Legolas beside you.
The elf chuckled and replied calmly, giving you a knowing smile, "I doubt it."
