I CAN WRITE WORDS NOW and the noise in my mind and the swell in my heart is back and has not let me go, the words are highlighted again and I can feel the pieces placing themselves in my mind the way I love.
The revival - so to speak - started with the Bible & writing fanfiction. Works that make me feel, that challenge my emotions. I needed something that will make the words sink in so deep they get stuck. And the only way to remove them is to write.
I've been trying to force the writing but it hasn't flown. The mechanics I know of, but the spirit that fills a work of writing has not been there. It would not be art, then because that undercuts the reason for art:
To feel something.
