Personality: Brendon can often seem cold when someone first meets him. He doesn't talk much, he doesn't joke around, he gets easily annoyed. He is focused on his business and he doesn't waste him time doing things that he isn't supposed to. He may be like that most of the time, but he can be sassy and sarcastic as hell if he wants to and he has a good sense of humour, surprisingly. He values friendship and family and he wants to make sure that the people close to him are safe and happy. He is a very calm and patient person, he doesn't get angry easily, but if someone manages to anger him, they might want to hide. He doesn't get physical when he's angry, no, but he can absolutely destroy someone with words. If someone is doing business with him, they might think that he's selfish since he does nothing without payment, but he will do something for free if someone really close to him asks. Since he comes from an older time, he's used to not having much which means he appreciates all kinds of luxury a lot more than what he would've if he didn't grow up that way. He doesn't open up easily because he's afraid that he's going to lose that person since he's immortal and they probably aren't. He's a nice guy deep down if you manage to get past the walls he has built

Warlocks are born from demons and humans. They are immortal beings who, at one point in their lives, stop aging. They are capable of performing magic and casting spells in demonic languages. Most are also versed in making potions. A universal trait among them are their warlock or demon marks, a part of their body that is strange or unique that identifies them. Additionally, warlocks are unable to have children. Within certain districts, there is one warlock who is proclaimed the "High Warlock" -they are recognized by other Shadow World denizens as a powerful figure and a sort of leader of the local warlocks.
