Chapter 2

Kylie's pov

I got home and I went to my room. I decided to change and then text hayes.

I changed into soffee shorts and my tye dye shirt. I put my hair in a side braid and then grabbed my phone.

K kylie H hayes

K. hey what's up

H. nothing really, I'm just walking home. I had to pick my little sister skylynn up from school.

K. Oh! I get it. I have little twin siblings.

H. really cool

K. no, not cool! I have to do everything for them. like right now, my mom is on a business trip to Toronto Canada and I have to baby sit them

H. oh sorry, I didn't mean to say that. tell me more about you

K. sorry, well My mom's name is Tiffany and my dads name is George but he is in jail for something very bad and I have 1 sister sara and 1 brother Logan. the are twins and they are 6. I have 1 dog named sparky. wbu

H. wow, I have 2 brothers and 1 half sister. The oldest brother is will and he is 19 and my other brother is nash and he is 16. my sister is skylynn and she is 6 as well.

K. k, I gotta get the energy out of sparky.I have 2 6 year olds and a dog to take care of. oh lord!

After I got done Sara came into my room. "come on kk" she said. "coming" I said.

I walked down the stairs and told them to come on. we walked out the door with a tennis ball. we got to the middle of the yard and I stuck my phone in my bra to hold it there.

I threw the ball and they all ran for it. Logan caught it. "I gots it I gots it" he said. "that's awesome logan!" I said inthusuasticly. I got it from him and threw it again

Hayes's pov

We got close to the house and I saw a girl in her front yard. from the back she looked like kylie. is that kylie? then I heard the girl talk. "ok Logan come here, stay sparky" she said. that is kylie!!! she is my neighbor? this can't be possible. I've seen that girl plenty of times. our parents know each other well.

"Puppy!" sky said. kylie turned around and saw me. "uh hayes is that you'' she asked. "Kylie?" I asked. "hey, I knew you looked familiar"she asked. "Yeah, you did too! ha ha I see your busy so i'll leave" I said. "Hey, do you wanna come over tonight. my parents aren't going to be here and I'm going to be so lonely" she asked. "uh yeah I would love to. when should I come over?" I asked.

"Uh, I'm putting them to bed at 7 so about 7:30" she said. "ok see you then" I said. "bye" she said. "bye''. I got to my house and I went up to my parents room. I asked them if I could go and they said yes. I didn't bring up that that friend was a girl. "Are you staying the night?" my dad said. "Yeah probably" I said and went to my room.

I had an hour until I leave so I take a shower and then put new clothes on.

I am thinking about making a move on her tonight. I don't want to stink while doing it. haha😂

It was 7:28 so I made my way over to her house. I knock and she answered. "hey come in" she said. I waked in and she asked, "what do you want to do".

"Ooh can we watch frozen" I said like a four year old. "haha yeah" she said.

We went and sat on the couch. She put it in and it started. she looked over at me. "why are you my friend?" she asked. "what are talking about" I said. "i mean, I'm a nobody, Im a nerd" she said. "If I ever hear those words come out if your mouth again, I I don't know what I would do" I said. "why dont you just say you would hurt me, like everybody else says" she said. "because I would never in my life hurt you" I said.

She leaned in. As did I. Our lips touched. She put her hand on my cheek and pulled away. "um I'm sorry" she said. I kissed her again and I didn't stop. she smiled into the kiss.

I pushed her back so that I was on top of her. "What are you doing" her little brother asked coming down from the steps. I got up from her."uh nothing go back to bed" she said. he went back to bed.

''What just happened" She asked. "um I guess we kissed" I said. "But friends don't kiss each other" She said. "Your correct, oh come on you know where I'm getting. kylie please be my girlfriend" I said. "mm hmm, your gonna have to ask out me properly" she said. I know she wants me."(sigh) fine, but I will get you" I said. "sure, lets watch the movie" she said.

"Ok" I said. she put her head in my lap and looked up at me. "what babe" I said. "don't call me babe" she said. "oh come on" I said. she turned her head to face the TV. I sneaked a kiss on her cheek. "Stop it" she said. "no! your just so beautiful I just want to cuddle with you" I said. she got up and hugged me. she curled up into a ball and held onto me.

"Oh my god! your irresistible" I said holding her. "haha, don't get a head of the game grier" she said. "ok Thompson" I said. The movie was over. "I'm hungry" she said and went to the kitchen. "Ooh can we make cupcakes" I said getting up. "Uh yeah sure" she said and got it out. we started mixing it up and she put some of it in my hair. "oh uh uh" I said putting some on her head.

"What the heck" she said and threw some more on me. "oh really you wanna go there" I said and threw some on her. "oh heck naw" she said.

We ended up with dough every where. "I need to shower now" I said. "You can upstairs in my room" she said. she showed me where it is and I got one.

She went to get hers in her parents room. I got done and then I put my clothes on. I went down to the living room and saw the twins down there.

"Hi, I'm Sara and this is Logan" the said. "oh hey I'm hayes" I said."what are you playing" I asked. "Pinball" they said. "Wow that's a hard game" I said. "I know, I can't beat him" Sara said. "here let me help" I said. I got the pointer thing and I shot it. "wow thank you hayes" she said and high fives me.

Kylie's pov

I get done with my shower and I put my clothes on. I walk down to the family room and I see hayes talking to the twins. they shouldn't be up but if they are bonding with hayes I'm good.

"Here let me help" he said. he got the pointer thing and shot it. "Wow thank you hayes" Sara said and high fives hayes. "Aww" I say walking in on them. "Kylie!" they both say. "what it's so cute, you two were bonding" I said. ''okay, lets play people" Logan said. "oh no, you two are going to bed" I said. "aww, bye hayes" they said and left.

"Well, I'm tired how about you" I said. "me too. can we cuddle" he asked. "in your dreams" I said. "no, in your bed" he said. "just come on" I said getting up and going to my room. "wait, where am I going to sleep" he asked. "in my room moron" I said. "hey" he said. ''Hi'' I said.

We got to my room and I put my phone on the charger. "Come on your do slow" he said. "where am I going?" I asked. He got up from my bed and went over to me. he picked me up bridal style. "wait, no your the guest" I said. "your the lady" he said. "this would be a whole lot easier if you just let me in the bed with you" he said. "ugh fine" I said and he ran to my side.

"But I swear if you kiss *hayes kisses kylie* HAYES!" I said/yelled. "What babe" he said. "hayes stop calling me babe and stop kissing me" I said. "no, your just so beautiful I just want to hold you and kiss you" he said. "Well to bad, you can't" I said. "ugh fine but I can still put my arm around you, in a friendly way" he said. "fine but in a friendly way" I said. "of course" he said. i turned over and he put his arm around me

"Night hayes" I said. "night, beautiful" he said. "hayes" I warned. "oh go to sleep" he said. he kissed my cheek. "stop" I said. "okay" he said.

I hope you liked this chapter! I have 9 free days to write so expect awesome chapters. I brainstorm ideas at night and then I bring it all together and write it the next day. if I don't update I apologize in advance because I know it will happen. I'm going to a log cabin in 2 days. it has a game room, an indoor pool all to ourselves and a screening room. is I'm going to my favorite place in the world so I will probably be busy.
