Chapter 3

Hayes's pov

I woke up and Kylie wasn't in the bed. I got up and made sure I looked fine. I walked downstairs and Sara and Logan were eating breakfast on the couch and Kylie was on her phone. she had glasses on and she was drinking coffee. she didn't notice me come down stairs. I walked over and sat bye her and kissed her cheek.

"Stop" she said. "oh come on" I said. "don't oh come on me" she said. "you won't be saying that after our date tonight" I said. "what date I never said anything about going on a date" she said. "will you go on a date with me" I said. "yes I will" she said. "thank you my god your so stubborn" I said. "hey I can cancel at anytime'' she said. "sorry" I said.

"When is it" she asked. "mmm, about 7:15" I said. "wow, seven... 15 that's pretty exact" she said. "its the perfect time" I said. "okay, well what should I where" she asked. "what you would where to the beach" I said. "mm okay, well I have to take the twins to play school" she said. "ok well I have to get ready, see ya later" I said. "you too" she said. "twins lets go" she said and they left.

Nash's pov

"Hey nash, where did hayes go" my dad asked. "he told about his friend Kylie next door" I said. "is Kylie a girl" he said. "uh yeah why" I said. "I just don't want that to happen again" he said. "dad, he's over her" I said. "(sigh) I know" he said. "I think he's taking her on a date tonight" I said before he could leave. "oh god, I hope he doesn't hurt her" he said. "dad, calm down. I can see it in this girl" I said. "oh ok" he said.

Hayes's pov

I got home and then got ready got tonight. I got a shower and then ate lunch. it was now 2:45. I got on my phone and checked my social media.

It was then 4:45 so I watched TV. it the turned into 6:30 so I decided to get ready. I put my swim pants on and then put my phone in my pocket. I went to use the bathroom. I got out and it was 7:12 so I looked my self in the mirror and then left.

I told nash where I was going and then went over to her house. I knocked on the door. she answered it. "you look beautiful" I said. "thanks, you look pretty handsome" she said. "ugh, pretty" I said. "Haha lets go" she said and we made our way there. I tried to reach for her hand but the pulled it away. I tried again but the pulled away again. I've never held her hand before.

She grabbed my hand and put her hand in mine. "there" she said. "thank you, you don't have a problem with this" I asked. "I trust you enough" she said. I nodded as we got to the beach.

I pulled her down with me. we lay there just staring at the stars.(note: he let go of her hand). "Kylie" I said. "yes hayes" she asked. "would you be my girlfriend?'' I asked. "of course I will hayes, I thought would never ask" she said.

I turned and lay on top of her. "Lets get in the water" I said. "Yassss!" she said. we held hands and ran to the ocean. we got there and she put her arms around my neck. I put my hands on her hips. we leaned in and we kissed. it lasted about 1 minute. then we pulled away and smiled at each other. she put her head on my chest.

"You ready" I asked. "yeah" She said. we turned to start walking and she stopped. "can you carry me" she asked. "yeah" I said. she got on my back. I carried her all the way home.

We got to her house and I put her down. "night beautiful" I said. "night handsome" she said. I kissed her on the cheek and then walked home.

Kylie's pov

"Oh crap, I forgot the twins! wait who are they with?" I said. "Kylie!" Logan said and ran up to me. "how did you get here" I asked. "Lauren bring us home" he said. "ok well go back to bed I am going to bed too okay" I said. "okay" he said and ran upstairs. I called Lauren and thanked her for bringing them home. then I checked on the twins.

I went to my bed and plugged my phone in to the charger. I looked over at hayes's room. he was staring at me. "night" I mumbled. "night love you" he mumbled back. "love you too''. I got in my bed and went to sleep.
