I recognized my mother.
"Stella, take care," she said.
On the right of me was a the door to the back of the castle.
"Mother, I am scared. I've never been alone out there."
The queen tucked a strand of my brunette lock to the back of my ear. "Do you still want to do this?"
"I have to. At least until I find another rich heir to marry. I will always keep our kingdom in mind, mother."
Her eyes were filled with tears. "I'm proud of you, Stella." She kissed my forehead.
"Stella," a brunette guy of my age was coming towards us.
"Cameron," I said.
He opened his arms. "Good luck, my beloved sister."
I accepted his embrace.

I woke up in a hospital bed. I looked around and realized that I wasn't alone.
Nicolas was lying down on the other bed two feet away from me.
"Nick."
"Oh, you're awake," he said, holding up an icebag over his forehead. "You passed out."
"Nick," I said, firmer this time.
He turned to me, worried. "Is there something wrong? Do you want me to call the nurse?"
"I remember." I choked out.
"What?" He looked confused.
"I remember."
"You remember what?"
"I remember who I am."
His eyes widened. "Oh God."
