"Follow my voice." His melodic tone stimulating her eardrums like it's the sweetest tone she's ever come across.

Small foot patterns are left behind her trail in this garden of bliss she found herself emerged in. Purple lilacs brushing against her bare skin. The bright white maxi dress she wore snug against her body. The bone straight strands of hair that sat on her head blowing in the wind like Pocahontas. The pink and purple hues from the sun setting on the horizon in the background glisten against her brown orbs.

Still, all she could see was the beautiful environment surrounding her. Not the one she was desperately searching for, "I'm searching but I can't find you. I can't see you." She wanted to cry at her own impatience but she couldn't bring herself to. It was almost as if this habitat had control of her emotions because all she could feel was pure happiness.

"You feel me?" His voice closer this time causing her to stop in her tracks.

"Lightweight and free like a single bird feather." A dove flies over her head losing a beautiful single feather along the way.  With persistence, Jazelle catches the feather in admiration. She twists the hollow shaft of the feather between her fingers. "It feels like comfort. It feels like you."

"I told you I'm here." A smile lacing his voice. A vivid memory of his smile invading her mind causing a similar one to appear on her face.

"But I can't see you. I want to see you."

"You will. You have to follow my voice." Right now it sounded as if he was only a couple of feet away but all she could see was the lilacs dancing in the wind.

She continues her journey through the field trying her hardest to find any signs of him. She comes to no avail but still continues maneuvering through the flowers carefully not to crush their innocence– the meaning behind them.
