A New Student

(Wednesday morning)

Today Ben is going back to school.

"Hey babe. Ready for school?" Ben asked as Mal got in.

"You seem to be in a happy mood." Mal pointed out.

"Yeah well..." Ben stated.

"I know why. And I'm happy too." Mal said and kissed Ben. "Are you sure you still want to keep this a secret?"

"It's not a secret. It's just private right now." Ben corrected her.

"Right. Yeah. Yeah, but we're not telling anyone. Isn't that kind of a secret?" Mal wondered.

"Look Mal. It's just for right now. We will tell people. Don't worry." Ben promised.

"Okay." Mal nodded and smiled.

As they were walking into school they saw everyone freaking out.

"Hey Evie what's going on?" Mal asked.

"You didn't hear? There's a new student. And apparently he's really cute." Evie told them.

"Does anyone know his name?" Ben questioned.

"No. He's really mysterious." Evie answered.

"Is he single?" Mal asked and Ben looked at her surprised.

"I'm pretty sure." Evie replied.

"Well then I would love to meet him." Mal smirked.

"Mal. Everyone wants to meet him." Evie said.

Ben sighed, then turned around and walked away.

"Is he okay?" Evie watched Ben walk away.

"What?" Mal responded and turned to Ben. "Oh I'll go talk to him.

Mal ran to check up with Ben.

"Hey." Mal stopped him.

"Hey." Ben mumbled and kept walking.

"Are you okay?" Mal checked.

"You seem to be into this new guy." Ben told her.

"Ben I haven't even met him. Wait are you jealous?" Mal smirked.

"I mean me and you like just started dating and you're already looking for someone new." Ben explained.

"Ben I'm not looking for someone else. I just wish I could tell people about us." Mal replied.

"I told you we will. Just not now." Ben sighed. "Look just until the end of this week. Just so we can figure things out. If we actually want this or not."

"Okay. I'm sorry." Mal said.

Mal pulled Ben into an empty room and they kissed a few times.

"That's better." Ben smiled. "I need to go though."

Ben walked out of the room and Mal waited a few minutes before leaving.

"Excuse me?" Someone said from behind her.

"Sorry." Mal said moving out of the way.

"No. I was trying to talk to you." They told her.

"Oh sorry. What's up?" Mal responded.

"I'm new and lost." They said.

"Oh wait are you the new guy?" Mal asked.

"Yeah." They answered.

"So there are plenty of other people this hallway. Why ask me?" Mal was asking.

"You seem more chill than the rest of these people. I walk down a hallway and they stare. Anyways, can you help?" They explained and asked.
