Niall glared at me when I got home later that night. I paused in the door way, looking away from him. "Where the hell were you?"

"With Harry," I answered. "I left with him earlier, remmeber?"

"It's one in the morning," he added on dryly.

"Yeah, good night," I told him, pushing past and going to my room. I closed the door and leaned against it, pulling out my phone to text Harry.

Louis:
I'm fine. Niall's just cranky

While waiting on his response, I changed into sweats and a hoodie I stole from Harry since the a.c. seemed to be on high. After cleaning my room a bit, I turned off the light and plugged in my phone.

Harry:
Good, don't want you to be in trouble x

Louis:
Pick me up for school?

Harry:
I think I can manage that

I smiled before texting him goodnight and letting my phone fall onto my bed. I fell asleep rather quickly, which was odd because I normally had to fight to get to sleep.

The next morning, the first thing I did was check my phone. It was six, giving me at least an hour until Harry would be over to pick me up. I saw two texts from Harry, and one from Liam. I clicked Liam's first, confused by the pretext.

Liam:
We need to talk. Like seriously talk because I'm kinda freaking out and you're the only person who would understand

Louis:
Okay when?

I was expecting a delay in his response, but the bubble for him responding popped up right after.

Liam:
Like now, preferably

Louis:
fuck, alright

I sent him the address and told Harry I was staying home before changing, grabbing my bag and slipping outside. It only took Liam a few minutes to pull up, but once he did, he got out of the car. "You have to drive. I can't-"

"Hey, it's cool." I walked to the driver side while he got in the passenger side and grabbed his head. "What's going on?"

"I don't know. It's weird, like, I feel torn almost. Like I'm not completely here. And my head's all... confused? I don't know." Liam closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Like... you're mixing stuff up with the other world or whatever?" I asked. He nodded and I chewed on my lip. "It has to be a real place. We couldn't have both made it up."

"Then why are we here and not there? Why do we exist there?" Liam asked. I shrugged. "I don't know what's going on, but I don't like it."

"Can you...?" I started to ask, looking over to him.

"Kinda. I can't control it, at all. Like sometimes everyone's thoughts are on blast and others it's none or just a few. What about you?"

I shook my head. "I don't know if I should try."

"Because of the school and shit," he mumbled, rubbing his head. "That makes it harder."

"I just... I don't know. If I stop time and can't get it to start again, then we're stuck. If my telekinesis freaks out, then... then people know and the less people that know, the better."

Liam agreed and we drove around with no real destination while thinking some things over. I didn't make it up. I couldn't have, and had the exact same world build in my head that Liam did.

My phone started ringing and I sighed until Liam answered it and put it on speaker. "Hello?"

"Where are you?" Niall asked. "For one, I take you to school, for two, you're not home like you told Harry you would be and three-"

"I'm kinda busy right now, so I'll call you back," I told him, motioning for Liam to hang up. "Talk to you later!"

He hung up and chuckled as he set the phone down in the cup holder. "Of course you'd do that."

"Obviously," I laughed. "So what's the plan? Because I'm so down to try to figure out what the fuck is going on."

"Then that's the plan. To figure this all out."

We went to a park and sat down at a bench. I had never even seen this part of town, so I doubt any one would try to come find us here. "So, where do we start?" Liam asked after a small pause.

I ran my fingers through my hair. "What is the first thing you remember?"

He let out a long breath. "Um, nothing until we were teenagers, to be honest. Like maybe thirteen."

I nodded. "That's better than me. I literally only remember meeting Harry at the summer camp and up. Like there's small facts before it, like I never went to public school, I had anxiety, but like I can't actually remmeber it."

Liam nodded. "And we're sixteen now. So-"

"That was a jump of like two years." Liam gave me a confused look. "Freshmen to juniors. Why did we skip sophomore year?"

Liam thought about it. "That's weird. Okay, that's really bugging me now that you pointed it out."

"What if... what if something happened there?" I asked Liam. "And we got put here somehow, but it messed up and changed our lives?"

Liam nodded slowly. "You were in a coma, I just can't remember what the hell happened."

"What about Harry?" I asked. "He exists, but he like fits this world."

"Have you ever asked him about it before?" Liam questioned.

I shook my head. "No. I've brought it up, but he never added on like he knew what I meant."

"Well, Niall's here too,  I bet Zayn is somewhere. Maybe they just exist."

I rubbed my face. "We need to find out what happened when we were fifteen. That's the key to this, I think."

"How do we do that?" Liam asked.

I shrugged, trying to think of any way we could fix this, or at least see what the hell was going on. "We try to go back."
