I first came up with this idea when I decided to write a one-shot of one of EXO's songs, and I picked "Going Crazy" as seen below:

As you can see, Kyungsoo's hallucination name was originally D.O. (even in this version on Wattpad) so it would be less confusing when Kai learned the truth, but I later switched to Kyungsoo in case readers questioned why I was calling him D.O. because it's not the most conventional option.
Anyway, when I decided to publish this as a book on Wattpad, I knew I wanted there to be nine chapters and an epilogue, so I used the English translation of the song and split the verses and chorus into nine sections (I had to join two verses together and take our repeating choruses but I think it went okay overall), which is the italics in the beginning of each chapter on the right hand side.
