Ben's eyes constantly leak blood, which doesn't really affect his health in any way, shape, or form (basically he can't pass out and die from blood loss because the flow of the "tears" is so slow).
Crying, however, is a completely different story. When Ben cries, the flow of his blood "tears" (well, I guess they can be classified as actual tears now lmao) increases and depending on how long or how hard he's crying, he could potentially pass out from blood loss. He doesn't usually cry, however, unless he's extremely sad, upset, or scared.
(There's gonna be a lot of Ben headcannons that are about to be posted, so if you don't like Ben, sorry, but that's who I'm inspired to share headcannons about at the moment)
