🍋Chapter One🍋

   The morning was warm. Golden rays of sunlight touched the sidewalk gently. I turned my head to Jeff, a childhood friend, who was scribbling away at his journal as we walked. "What are you doing Jeff?" A warm voice questioned. The voice belonged to Paula, another friend of mine. She was answered by Jeff's boyfriend, Tony.

   "He's working on an essay for English, the one subject he isn't good at." He giggled. Jeff scowled "I'm not that bad at it." He retorted, his Winter accent crisp yet soft. Tony only shrugged his shoulders. "That Tony." A deeper voice rumbled from my other side "Always making a joke, yes?" Poo chuckled. I smiled and nodded in return. "We should head to class." Paula said "The bell rings soon."

   "Alright." I replied picking my bag up and slipping it on my shoulders. "See you guys at Lunch." I said before taking off.

   My name is Ness. I'm sixteen and I go to Eagleland High. I play baseball in my free time, and I make pretty good grades. But this story isn't only about me, oh no, in fact it's about something much more important.
