🍬 Chapter Five🍬

I awoke with a start. I looked at my clock 2:00 A.M. it read. I let out a grown and looked to my side to see Ness as awake as I was. Had he woken me? "What's the matter, Ness?" Ness stared at me with eyes that were as big as moons. "I'm sorry.. " he replied softly. "Whatever for?" Ness lowered his gaze, "You were talking in your sleep... I'm sorry if I'd caused you any stress." I felt my stomach tighten. " You never cause me stress.." Ness winced "Yes I have, a lot actually. You kept wailing on about me, and how you could never-" I cut him off with a finger "Listen. I like you. Very much so, the only thing that stresses me are my feelings when I think about you."
"Why? Are they all that bad?"
"No they're not bad... Well some of them are... In a holy sense 'bad' I suppose it-" I shook my head "They're good." Ness looked relieved and I sighed. "You think you can go back to sleep?"
"Maybe..." His voice hinted with mischief. "What is it?"
"Let's go out to town!" I furrowed my brows.
