5 Years On: A Danganronpa V3 Story

Chapter 3

Shuichi's POV

I come out of the changing room with the same uniform I wore in Danganronpa. I put my hat with my hospital gown in the bag where my clothes were. I look down the narrow corridor and see Tsumugi talking to someone. The person looks strangely familiar

"Shuichi?" The person asks
I recognise that voice.
It's Kiibo
"Kiibo?" I ask
"Shuichi!"
Kiibo runs over to me and gives me a hug. I hug him back
"How are you alive?!?" I ask
"I got someone to build him again"
I turn to Tsumugi
"Who?"
"Professor Idabashi"
Kiibo let's go
"Where is Maki and Himiko?" He asks
Maki and Himiko walk of the changing rooms also in their uniforms. They look at us in shock. Himiko runs over to us while Maki walks.
"K-kiibo" Himiko stutters
Kiibo gives Himiko a little wave
"Ho-how are you here? I thought you died" Maki questions
"Well, Tsumugi got in contact with my father, Professor Idabashi and fixed me"
"Well, I'm happy that you're back, and I bet Himiko is too"
Himiko gives a little nod
"Anyway, That's us ready" Tsumugi says "Oh, just so you know, you might be a bit shocked about the surprise when you see it"
We start to walk
"Isn't that what a surprise is all about?" Maki mutters

We stop in front of a red door
"Right, before we begin we need you guys to wear blindfolds"
"Why do we need blindfolds?" I ask
"So you don't see the surprise right away. And don't worry, I won't do anything like stab you or shove you into acid"
"I feel very uncomfortable now" Himiko says
Tsumugi puts the blindfold on us. It's very weird having to be guided by a person who killed all of your freinds and them saying they'll won't harm you

Tsumugi stops pushing us. She takes of the blindfolds. It's super dark in the room. She walks over to a light switch and turns it on. And I see something I would never expect to see.

"Surprise!!!"

I can't believe it. Everyone who died is in front of us. All of our freinds. Even Kaede. Wait, Kaede is here?!

"Umm hello?!?! Earth to Shuichi!" Miu Barked
"Leave him alone! He must be in shock to see us. Everyone is" Kaito told Miu

Kaito walks up to me and hugs me
"I missed you bro!" Kaito says
"I-I missed you too!"
I hug back. I feel like I'm going to tear up. Kaito let's go
"Wa-wait, how are you guys alive?" I ask
"Tsumugi will tell you later" Kaito says"
I look over to Tsumugi, who's chatting with Angie and Kiyo. I smile. I need to thank Tsumugi later for this. I turn back to Kaito
"Anyway I think there's a certain someone who wants to talk with you"
I look over and see Kaede. She's look right at me! Kaito smirks and pushes me in her direction. I trip up and fall onto my knee's. Omg, this is so embarrassing!!!!

"Shuichi!" Kaede gasped
Kaede helps me back up
"So-sorry" I say
"It's fine"
Awkwardness fills the Atsmopheir.
"Soooooo...you took of that cap of yours. You look cute with it off
I blush a bit
"Yo-you think?"
"Of course I do!"

Kaede hugs me (jeez 3 hugs already?!?!. More than what I get a week...) I feel myself blushing.
"Can you two love birds stop hugging? You don't need to be the center of attention y'know" Kokichi said, with his signature wide grin
"O-oh...sorry" Kaede says
She backs away from me

"A-anyway, what do you wanna do? Tsumugi said we're free to go now. But she made a group chat for all of us to keep in touch"
"I want to spend some time with you" I say
