5 Years On: A Danganronpa V3 Story

Chapter 16

"Who is it? Tell us!"

"A...A woman named Tsumugi Shirogane"

My heart stopped for a second. Tsumugi? No way! she wouldn't do anything of the kind! This has to be a lie. She wouldn't hurt anyone. The guilt would be too much for her...but...She was the one behind all of the killing games. If she could plan all of those without the slightest bit of guilt, then hurting a few people and stealing money wouldn't affect her. Then again, when we first found her after escaping V3, she was an emotional mess. Claiming that Team Danganronpa threatened to hurt her if she didn't do her role properly. Ugh, this is just all too confusing!

"Saihara?"

Kyoko puts her hand on my shoulder. I snap back to reality

"You look worried. is everything ok?"

I stay silent

"Well, if that's what the lab says, it must be true. I'll send out some cops to go look for Tsumugi and we can interrogate her once we find her."

Mr Yoshida walks up to me, putting his hand on my shoulder

"Look" he says " I know this must be tough, since Tsumugi is one of your friends. but we have to look for her and see if she really is the one that's behind all of this"

He walks to the door. He stops, pointing at the door.

"Saihara, you can leave now"

"Y-yes sir" I say, walking out of the room.

After leaving the room, I rush to the car and head to Tsumugi's house

I frantically rush to tsumugi's door, knocking like crazy. God I hope it isnt her

The door opens

"Hmm, oh hi Shui-"

"Tsumugi! We...we need to talk. It's very important"

"Oh? Well, come inside. Gonta, Kiyo and Angie are at the park so you dont need to worry about them"

Tsumugi moves aside and let's me in

"What seems to be the bother?" Tsumugi asks, sitting down

"Look" i start "I shouldn't be telling you this. But, as your friend I need to"

Fiddling my fingers, I try and think of what to say. I didnt have much time. Am I risking losing my job for this? Yes. But there's no way it can be Tsumugi. I look up to the dark blue haired girl

"Well. The police think that it's you that's cause all of the recent crimes"

Tsumugi face drops

"Of course" she says "after all my Reputation has dropped significantly ever since Danganronpa's end."

She stands up, trying her long Blue hair into a ponytail. Taking off her glasses that shields her eyes

"Shuichi, you dont understand what's been happening to me ever since we've left Danganronpa. I've been getting countless death threats. People telling me to make another season or harassing me for starting it in the first place. I just want to move on. I never wanted to be in this situation. And now I bet someone's framed me into this. Ugh, why does my life have to be such a mess!"

She flops back down onto the couch. I understand people's hatred for Danganronpa, but why feel the need to harass one of the workers? It isn't right

"Well, I guess this is it. I'll be taken into custody and get arrested for a crime I didn't commit. Goodbye anime, Goodbye cosplaying"

Is that all she is worried about? Not about missing her friends or getting to live a normal life? Tsumugi must love her cosplaying

"I dont know what to do" I blurt out "but i will do my best to prove your innocence Tsumugi!"

She looks at me, and puts a little smile on her face

"Thank you Shuichi" she says

And the long waited Chapter 16 is out! Sorry it's a short one I wanted it out as soon as I could. I honestly dont know what's gonna happen next, so I'll probably go figure that out now. The next chapter might just be me drawing some scenes and stuff
