Chapter 8

Kaede's POV

Its been 4 weeks since the party. Rantaro and Kirumi are officialy a couple. Shuichi just went on his "Guys trip" with Kaito, Kiibo and Rantaro. Me and Miu are going over to Makis house to see how she is doing. I made her some cookies. I may not be the best at baking but I really tried my best!!
I pick up Miu in my car and drive to Makis

"How do you think she's doing?" I ask Miu, getting out of the car
"I dunno? She's not been texting for a bit now"
"I hope she's ok"
I walk up to the door and knock. To my surprise the door opens after the first knock. But no one's behind the door. I walk in
"Maki?" I say
"Uhh.....Kaede?"
I walk into the living room. Maki is slouched on the couch with a bowl on her lap. Her belly has gotten a bit bigger.
"Maki! Are you ok?"
I rush over to her. She nods slowly
"It's just.....the morning sickness getting to me..."

I grab my bag and take out the cookies. Their wrapped in a light pink napkin with a red bow to the it together. I had them to Maki
"I made some cookies for you! I hope you like them"
"Ah...thanks Kaede, I'll have them later"
Maki places them on the table
"Anyway how did you get in? Did that idiot forget to lock the door?"
"Probably" I say

Miu walks over to Maki and hands her a box with red wrapping
"You better be greatful, I pulled an all nighter on this" Miu says
Maki opens the gift. Its a mini Kaito robot
"I know the last time Kaito went away somewhere you had a fucking melt down and missed him so much so I decided to make a robot of him so ya don't miss him"
Maki takes the robot and hugs it
"Th-thanks Miu..." Maki says
"No prob"
"You guys can sit down, I'll move"

Maki gets up and me and Miu sit next to her. Maki opens the napkin and grabs a cookie and takes a bite. Her eyes widen a bit and I can here a little gasp
"These.....these are amazing!" Maki whispers
"I'm glad you like them, took me 3 batches to make them" I say, smiling
"You two can take some if you want" Maki says
"I was planning to anyway" Miu says
Miu takes a cookie and takes a bite.
"Oh. My. God. These are the best fucking cookies I've ever had I'm my life!" Miu exclaimed

Hey guys!
Sorry this chapter is a bit short. I was just trying to rush it so I could get it out today. But I'll be focused on getting Tuesdays chapter ready. Also in about 3 weeks time I'm going on holiday, so there might be a chance I can get extra chapters done. but at the same time, I'm probably get told to stay off my phone. Either way it's just so you guys know
