Chapter 11 part 1

No one's POV

"Wh-wha....you can't be serious"
"I-I'm sorry but I am"
Shuichi starts to break down. After a bit he stops
"We're both in Saint Lilly's hospital. I think you should come down."
"O-ok.....I'll tell the others"
Shuichi hangs up. He puts his phone on the bed and starts to cry again
"Bro, are you ok?"
Kaito walks into the room. So does Kiibo.
"I-its Kaede. She's in the hospital. And so is Maki"
"What!" Kaito shouts
"What happened to the both of them?" Kiibo asks
"I-i don't know about Maki....bu-but Kaede.....She got hit by a car"
"Jeez...." Kiibo says
"Kaito, can you take me down to Saint Lilly's Hospital. That's were they are"
"Sure" Kaito says
"I'll stay here and tell Rantaro" Kiibo says
Me and Kaito nod in agreement. We both go to the car and drive to the hospital

Kaede's POV

Darkness. Darkness is all that I can see. What happened. I try to remember and then it hit me (Literally. Haha XD I'm so funny. Kill me)
I remember a car that was nearly going to hit Maki and i pushed her out of the way. I guess that I got hit instead and got knocked out.
I hear sirens. And talking. I try to move but everything hurts. I open my eyes slowly and look around. I can see the sky. But, it's not it's usual light blue. It's A darker blue mixed with orange. How long have I been knocked out
"She's awake" I hear a voice saying.
A women with red hair leans over me
"Hello Mrs Saihara, can you hear me?"
I nod in pain
"I'm nurse Sato, now can you tell me if you remembered what happened?"
"U-umm..Yeah...." I say ,"I..I was with my freind and she walked on the road when a car was coming. I pushed her out of the way and here I am....heh"
"That's very brave of you Mrs Saihara"
"Call me...Kaede"
"Ok then Kaede. Now can you tell me if anywhere in your body is in pain?"
"Um...my wrist.....my leg..... And my head......I think that's it"
"Ok then.... I'll be back in a sec"

Nurse Sato gets up and walks away. In the distance I can here someone talking
"How Is Kaede?" A person asks.
I recognise her voice. It's Maki
"She's doing ok. From what I can see she's definitely broken her leg."
"Can I see her?"
"I shouldnt really be allowing this. Since its usually family only. But I'll let you come with us in the ambulance"
I hear footsteps. I see nurse Sato above me. Maki comes is Well
"Oh Kaede!" Maki exclaims "i should of looked one last time"
"I-its fine" I say
Another nurse comes. He has blue hair with a red streak in it. The two nurses put me into a stretcher and carry me into the ambulance. Maki follows me. Nurse Sato stays next to me while the other nurse starts the Ambulance and drives
"How are you Maki?" I ask
"I would of been worse if it wasn't for you. I fractured my wrist landing on the pavement when you pushed me. But everything else is ok"
"What about the baby?" I ask
"We'll check Maki is Well once we get to the hospital" Nurse Sato says.

*Time skip to after the checkups*

Me and Maki are in the same ward now. Nurse Sato took a x-ray for the both of us. I broke my leg and left wrist and have a fractured rib. Maki on the other hand only has a fractured right wrist. Thankfully the baby is fine.
"Is Shuichi coming?" I ask Maki
"Yeah, I phoned him using your phone"
"Wait, i though I had it in my pocket?"
"You nearly left it at my house so I took it. I was planing to give it back once we came home"
"Oh yeah...heh, sorry"
"It's fine"
"Kaede?"

I look to see Shuichi and Kaito walk into the room. He runs over to me and hugs me
"Ow! Ow ow ow!" I say
He backs away
"Sorry!!" Shuichi apologises
"I-its fine"
Shuichi starts to cry
"Y'know that I nearly had a heart attack when Maki phoned me.....And told me that...."
"Come here"
I pat my hand on the bed. Shuichi sits next to me and I use my right hand to take his left.

"So....." I start "How was the trip with Kaito and the gang so far?"
"It was good.....But I dunno if I'll  be able to go back now"
I stare at Shuichi confused
"Why?"
"Well, you're not staying in the hospital, right? So you need someone to look after you"
"Kaede!?!?"
The door bursts open and Miu rushes into the hospital
"Miu! How....How did you know I was hear?"
"Do you think I'm stupid?!? You were on the god damm news. Also Kiibo told me about it"
She rushes over to me out of breath. Shuichi shuffles along and Miu sits down
"I saw the guy that hut you and I swear I nearly ripped his fuckin' head off"
"I-im fine, honest!!" I say
Miu laughs
"Yeah right, if you were fine you wouldn't be in the fuckin hospital."
Nurse Sato walks back in

"I am here to say that Maki can go home. Kaede, you need to stay here for a few days, sorry"
Maki gets up. She walks over to me
"Don't worry, I'll visit you everyday"
She takes my hand and holds it. Kaito comes over and puts his hand on Maki's sholder
"Sorry to be a bummer, but me and Shuichi have to go back to the cabin now..."
"I'm staying here"
Kaito looks at Shuichi
"You sure?"
"Yeah, I want to be here for Kaede"
Hearing that made me a bit happy.
I grab Shuichi's hand and hold it
"Well ok, i'll drop off your stuff tommorow at you're house. Bye"
Kaito goes towards the door but Maki stops him
"Excuse me mister, where's my kiss?"
Kaito rolls his eyes and kisses Maki's forehead. He trys to go out but Maki stops him again
"That's not a good enough kiss"
"What more do you want woman!"
Maki grabs Kaito and drags him down to her level and kisses him on the lips.
"There" she says
Kaito rolls his eyes again, he waves goodbye and walks out.
"I guess I'll go now, Miu wanna come?"
"Sure!"
Maki and Miu say their goodbyes and walk out
"Well, it is kinda late now, I guess I'll go, I'll see you tomorrow morning"
Shuichi kisses my forehead and walks away.

Soooo. I kinda just finished this part now so part 2 will actually be posted tommorow. Sorry .w.
