Damien sipped on his black coffee, watching the customers being served by his little angel. A pale blush ran across his cheek as he thought to himself.

His Angel.

Jareriel periodically glanced over at the wicked demon sitting directly beside the bar. As soon as his cup was drain of the dark elixir, Jareriel shuffled over with a fresh pot and poured him a new one. Damien picked at the scab that had developed from the burning pleasure that they endeavored together.

"Do you ever think about me?" Jareriel muttered.

"All the time, love" Damien whispered, smiling at Jareriel.

Suddenly, all the color drained out of Jareriel face. Damien turned to look at whatever made his love so frightened.

Astaroth

Damien gulped as the fellow fallen angel paced closer to the pair. Everyone in the shop quickly vanished, leaving the trio to their own devices.

"An angel and a demon, huh?" He growled in his deep, raspy voice.

The stench of Hell radiated throughout the petite coffee shop. He howled a wicked laugh, eyeing both their scorched lips.

"You both think that you can suffer through the pain forever? Pathetic, both of you." Astaroth snarled, "I will make you and your little lovebird suffer for eons. Would you want that for your pretty little angel?"

Astaroth reached out and stroke the well-mannered cherub's cheek, not leaving a scratch.

Damien exploded with rage, "You son of a bitch, do not touch my angel!"

Astaroth chuckled, "Who will then? You?"

He stood and stormed towards the door, turning back to the duo, "You've got one week to decide, choose wisely"

He finally left the shop. Damien grabbed a napkin and swiftly turned to his counterpart. He grabbed his chin and inspected the area in which the hellish specter violated his territory.

Jareriel glanced at Damien with a solemn look. Damien looked to make sure no one was watching before he kissed the one he loved. Smoke gathered in their mouths as the kissed deeply. Once separated, Damien blew a smoke ring at Jareriel. He giggled happily, then looked at Damien once more with those worried little eyes.

"What are we supposed to do?" He managed to speak, but as quietly as a mouse.

Damien shook his head in shame, "I don't know but whatever happens, I am not losing you."

Jareriel smirked at the mention of the care that his demon had for him.

"I love you", Damien muttered.

"I love you too, Damien," Jareriel whispered as he got up and continued his work.
