I opened the front door and I was instantly hit by the smell of bacon I closed the door and went to the dining room my family was there including my father I sat down with them

"Good morning!" I said

"Morning baby" my mother said with a smile

"Morning sisi" my siblings greeted me and the devil didn't say anything as usual

I dished up for myself

"Nika why you not sleep home?" Nina asked

"I was working very extra hard"

"Where's my chocolate?" She asked

"They didn't pay me so you'll get it when they pay me"

"What am I gonna get?" JoJo asked

"Whatever you want" I said

"Cool I'll write you a list of all the things that I want" he said and I just nodded

My dad was quiet I talked to my mother and my siblings after breakfast he said he wanted to talk to me my mother and I went to his office

"So he was at some innovation camp with his colleagues for the past 2 days" I started

"And?" He asked

"He has a folded that has your name written in bold in his laptop I was able to crack the code but the folded had more than one encryption wall" I explained

"That's not good enough" he said

"Not good enough? Do you know how difficult it is to sneak around and lie to someone who trusts you?"

"I don't care" he said

"At lease I'm his girlfriend now so I'll try harder"

My mom got excited and hugged me

"Let's hope you'll do better this time" he got up and left

"Don't worry about him baby, I'm proud of you my baby has a boyfriend" she said with a smile and kissed my forehead

"Okay mom you need to chill" I said

"Well I'll try to chill"

"There's something I need to do so I'll see you later" I said going into my room and Nina was behind me

I was in my office trying to solve this murder case and Sasha just wouldn't shut up

"So was that the Onika who was here yesterday?"

"What are you talking about?"

"The girl who was here yesterday that you was all boo'd up with you ain't even come to me to say hi or tell me about the camp"

She definitely jealous I put my pen down and closed the book

"Look Sasha I'm sorry I sidelined you I missed her and she missed me too plus I ain't even say goodbye to her, so best friend I'm sorry"

"Still not forgiven" she said folding her arms

"Well what can I do?" I asked

"Tell me everything about you and this girl" she said

"Well she's officially my girlfriend now"

"Oh when did this happen?"
