After a long day I got in the shower this job is really straining I can't focus and cope the shower door opened I felt Nicki wrap her little arms around my waist

"Don't be too hard on yourself baby, I'll help you if you need anything" she said

I sighed

What will it take to have Robert Maraj thrown into jail for good?

I turned around and kissed her

"I love you Meek"

"I love you too Onika" she smiled

We took a shower together then went to my office to work on this case

"Meek please promise me that you'll do anything in your power to make sure that my dad gets a life sentence" she said

"I promise baby girl" I said and kissed her cheek

"Thank you" she hugged me

"I'll need all the information of all your dad's contacts" I said

"That's easy, I know a few but I'll find out the rest for you" she said

"And people who are willing to testify" I said

"I'm willing to testify against him" she said

"We need more people" I said

"Okay I'll go to my neighbourhood tomorrow" she said

"Thanks baby" I kissed her

"I'd do anything to stop my father from destroying people's lives I thought he'd stop once Nina and JoJo were born" she said

"Don't worry baby, they are people inside who will teach him a very good lesson" I said

"Thank you" she sat on my lap and played with my beard

"Don't you think relationships are weird?" She asked me

"No, why would you even think that?"

"Well a part of me wants you to go to work cause it's what you love but another part of me wants you to stay here with me so we can cuddle all day basically I want you next to me 24/7" she said

"It's love babygirl" I said

"So how about you cut yourself in half so that another piece can go to work and another piece can remain here with me so we can cuddle all day?" She asked

"Are you okay?" I asked putting the back of my hand on her forehead

"I'm okay" she said

"I can buy you a big ass teddy bear that you can cuddle with all day while I'm at work" I said

"And dress it up in your work uniform" she said

I laughed

"Anything that makes you happy" I said

She smiled brightly she hugged me then kissed me

"I love you officer Williams" she said

"I like you too citizen Onika" I said and she laughed

She put her hand over her heart and pretended to be having a heart attack
