Nicki POV

Today was Meek's appointment I'm very happy to hear what the doctor has to say cause he has really improved

"His bones are coming together but he needs to take it easy" his doctor explained

"You need to tell him that cause he doesn't listen to me" I said

"What?" He asked looking shocked

"Tell him doctor and I need you to write a letter so that if he doesn't do what you told him I have the right to whoop his behind" I said

She laughed

"I would also recommend some little exercise everyday but remember to take it easy Mr Williams we don't want to jeopardize the progress that you've made so far" she said

He nodded

"You will continue with physio like usual and I would recommend you to eat food that have calcium for your bones" he said

He nodded

"And remember to take it easy Mr Williams, most people get excited then try to force their legs to work and end up doing more harm than good" she said

"I promise doctor I will take it easy" he said

I smiled at least he's getting better

I was laying in bed with Meek and he was laying on my stomach while I was messing up his waves

"You remind me of my mom you know" he said

"In a good way or bad way?" I asked

"In a good way, I know that she's proud of me for choosing a good wife like you" he said

"I still can't believe that I'm your wife" I said smiling

"Better believe it baby, I'm glad I have you in my life" he said

"Me too" I said

"I have a question" he said

"Ask"

"Were you really going to go through with your dad's plan if you didn't fall in love with me?" He asked

"No, you're a good guy and the guilt ate the living hell outta me I tried to pull out of the plan a couple of times" I said

"Then why didn't you?" He asked

"My dad has never really showed me that he loves me I thought if I did this he would love me and be proud of me, I used to get good grades in school and not even once has he said I'm proud of you Onika I just needed his love like every child does" I said

He looked at me

"I'm sorry about that" he said

"I guess that's why I fell in love with you, I was comfortable around and your name is also Robert" I said smiling and he laughed

"You made me feel good enough Meek, you made me feel loved and important" I said tearing up

He moved closer to me and kissed me then he wiped my tears

"You're not loved you're liked" he said smiling

"Fool" I slapped his hand away

"I'm just kidding baby, you are loved, you are appreciated, you are important, you are good enough, you are beautiful and you are worthy of my love" he said

I teared up

He kissed me again

"Thank you baby" I said
