***JOHNNY'S POV***

"I'll be back back later Johnny! I'm going to go give Sodapop the lunch Darry made for him! I love you!" I hear (y/n) yell from the front door as she leaves the Curtis' house.

I turn off the TV angrily and yell, "Ponyboy! Can I talk to you for a minute?"

Pony walks into the living room and asks, "What's up Johnnycake?"

"Has Sodapop ever talked about
(y/n)?" I furiously ask.

"Well sure, but Johnny, they're best friends." Ponyboy says.

"Best friends, my ass." I say as I put my head in my hands. (Y/n) is just too important to me. I can't lose her.

Ponyboy sighs. "Look Johnny, if she wanted to be with Sodapop, don't you think she would be with him already?"

Pony was right. When (y/n) wants something, she goes after it. I chuckle.

"Yeah, I guess you're right Ponyboy. Look at how crazy I am over her."

Ponyboy laughs. "Aren't we all?"
