EVERYONE CAME ALL AT ONCE to the hospital, there were too much of them that the nurse ended up reprimanding us but we ignored him, and soon, he didn't bother coming back knowing that he wouldn't be heard anyway.

I stood by the door beside Tyler, watching the woman I've felt so much love for sit with her son lying down next to him, talking to her while she made sure to talk to the other guys too. Adriana held her free hand while the other one was around Gabriel's waist, rubbing his stomach to calm him. He had been upset and was crying to his mom about how he thought he had lost her.

And I just couldn't help but think, me too, buddy.

The room was surrounded by different kinds of flowers, get well soon baskets and balloons. When it started to come to her room all at once, she couldn't help but laugh and at the same time thanking each one of them.

"So, when were you going to actually tell us you had a kid?" Lucas asked, walking closer to the kid to wave at him. "Hi, Gabriel. I'm your Uncle Lucas! Your mom and I are the best-est of friends!"

I watched as the humor in her eyes danced around. "Since when? Last I checked Adri has that position filled."

Adriana chuckled. "Sorry, Lucas. Should've known her longer and better to be qualified in the best friend position."

Lucas frowned. "I'm your guy best friend, then."

Robbie and Riley shook their heads, both crossing their arms, and just watching in amusement the entertainment that was in front of them.

"Got that position filled too," Alex raised his hand, cocking a brow at Lucas as if to challenge him to say further. "I'm literally her partner throughout everything and I'm also Gabe's best friend. So, eff off, man."

I knew I should have been overly jealous about Sammy having Alex in her life but I knew better. Sure, the man still loved her but we all knew that Sam was no longer feeling the same love she felt when they were together years together and even though that was the case, Alex still supported and helped Sam throughout these years when everything was taken from her.

And I couldn't help but be grateful to him, for being there in Sam's life from the very first start.

"Okay," Sean clapped on Lucas' shoulder, leading him backwards, and facing each and one of us. "Do you think me and my wife could get some privacy for a while with my sister?"

AS EVERYONE LEFT, I kissed my son at his forehead before telling him to get something from the restaurant downstairs with Alex. He went willingly, understanding completely that his uncle, aunt, and mom needed to have an important talk.
