It's been two weeks since Beckett made the phone call to our parents. Sure they've talked to us everyday to check up on how I'm doing, but they haven't returned home.

The ringing in my head gets worse by the day and Beckett and Colton won't let me go anywhere alone. They even have a friend of either of them in class with me. A few days back though they stop letting me go to school. Both of them stay at the house and watch over me as if I'm a helpless baby again. "Beckett, they're not coming," I whisper feeling the tears fill my eyes. I know I shouldn't ever get my hopes up and hope they come home, but I do every time. "They aren't coming come."

I turn around and run up the stairs. I run into my room, slam the door, and fall to the ground and start crying. I knew they hate us, but I still care for them. I still love them. "Alessa," Colton whispers from behind the door, "they'll come."

"No they won't," I whisper, "they never come."

I hear a door open and bags drop. "Where is she?" a voice yells running around the house. The ringing starts in my head again and I scream. "Where in the fucking world is she?"

"She's up here," Colton yells banging on the door. I feel the air shift and change around me. Someone appears and reaches out to grab me. Around the person is a dark Aurora. I scream even louder this time. The ringing gets louder the closer the person comes to me. "Alessa, what's wrong?"

Blood starts streaming down my face. The door bursts open and someone comes in and grabs me. The person pulls me out of the room and stabs something in my arm. The ringing gets louder and louder. I scream again. "Ryan, what's happening to her?" a women yells, "What's going on?"

"Jane, I don't know," the man that's holding me whispers, "I just know that she's a DC like me."

"D-d-daddy," I mumble and then scream.

"God dammit," dad yells, "She's the one. Where is Sergeant?"

"Keep him away from me," I scream as I feel myself fading. Pain spreads through my body. The front doors fly open and Grygh runs in. "Make it stop!"

Grygh runs up and tries to grab me but Colton steps in the way. "Back away from her," Colton growls.

"My father is making it happen," Grygh yells, "I can stop it."

"If he can stop it let him through," my father whispers, "She's dying."

"He almost killed her," Colton snaps angrly. He turns around and glares at my father. "You wouldn't know because your never here. You would know if you were in her life, but your not, and probably never will be."

"It's not our fault," my father growls, "we stayed away hoping she wouldn't become a DC. But look what happened she became one. A DC would've had to be around her for her to become one. It wasn't suppose to happen so soon."

Colton steps out of the way and Grygh walks up to me. My father hands me to him. Gently putting me in Grygh's arms as if I was a fragile piece of glass. Grygh's arms hugs me close to him. It feels as if he's shielding me from the world. The longer I'm in his arms the pain slowly goes away, the ringing softens in my head slowly, and I feel the blood stop flowing from my head. "You stopped it," my mother whispers, "you stopped it. My baby girl is okay."

"Here your daughter back," Grygh whispers handing me to my father, reluctantly , "I won't be back unless she's in danger. "

"Are you a DC?" my father asks kindly.

"Yes, sir," Grygh replies politely.

"How long have you been around my daughter?" my father questions. "Alessa, how long has this been going on?"

"I've been around her for month," Grygh replies hesitantly, looking afraid to what my father would do. "It's only been a month."

"A month," I whisper quietly.

"God fucking dammit," my father growls angrly, "your the reason it all started. Your the reason she's a DC. If you didn't come near her she would've lived normally. Alessa, what's all that happened to ever since you met him."

"The ringing started. I went to Careford for a week," I explain, "I lost my job at Alice's. I almost died around three times. I've been beat up. Been in a experimental hospital. Did things that shouldn't be spoke of. Have people out to kill me. Almost faded from existents multiple times. Been caught on fire and many more things I can't remember."

"Wait, what shouldn't be spoke of?" Colton growls glaring at Grygh.

"Ummm nothing important," I answer.

"See, boy," my father whispers darkly, "my daughter could be dead because of you. She wasn't suppose to have her powers until at least twenty five."

A banging sound sounds from the door. "Open up it's the IES," a voice booms from the other side, "Open now or we'll break down the door."

"Shit," Grygh whispers, "not again."

"What's the IES?" Colton questions.

"International Experiment Scientists," Grygh whispers, "they're here for Alessa."

"Great," I mumble as anger fills my body, "Let's be drugged and tied up again." Saying that caused everyone to glare at me. I put my hands up in surrender. "What?"

"It's not a joke," they all yell, "they are out for you."

The door burst down causing the IES to enter. "Give us the girl and no one gets hurt," the same man that yelled about firing everyone demands, "I promise you that."

"You're not getting her," a man growls deeply from behind me. The ringing in my head starts up again and the blood quickly starts flowing from my nose and out my ears. Darkness slowly starts filling the room. The IES takes a step closer and the darkness becomes darker. I feel something evil start to surround me. The room fills with anger, hate, sadness, jealously, and death. "Your not getting what belongs to me."
