Nicole's POV

"Sup guys!" I greeted as I walked towards the lunch table where my friends and I usually hang. As usual, Jane and Tin were sitting together casually but the few secret glances they gave for each other was a dead give away. I really should make a move to help them. Brad was busy texting his model or whoever was the flavor of the month. Tony was buried deep in his game while James was occupied with his ipad. Food trays were already in the table. "What's that James?" I asked as I peek some random girl picture from his iPad.

James was also a computer geek. He knew his way around computers but he never used it to hack in the system to cheat or anything. "Here take a look." He showed me the app that he must have developed and I saw some pictures of women. Some pictures were in black in white while some were colored and most of time have been involved with me one way or another. "It's a database, to track your girls." He deadpanned.

"What?" I scrolled more and saw that, they were really the girls that I had been involved. "What the hell James?"

"Chill... it's just a little project of mine. In the old times, folks used the yearbook to mark their conquer but in this age of modern technology, I just built an app." He explained.

"Why would you do that?" It's not like I'm playing with those girls. It's just really that we don't match.

"It's just for fun Nick. Relax." He added. "Those in black in white were the ones we are sure that you have been involved with. The ones still in colored are the girls that we are not sure, so you'll have to help us with that."

"I'm not helping you in anything. I'm serious James, delete that app or you can delete our friendship." With that, I walked away from them.

Such friends they were.

I was known as a play girl in our school. An image in which I have no idea how it started. It was my fault anyways, since I'm charming and girls literally threw themselves at me. It boosted my ego and since I was already falsely accused, I just went with the flow. In truth, it wasn't my intention to hurt them.

At the far side of the, under the big oak tree was as usual Emilia who kept to herself. A book on the right hand and a home made sandwich on the left. Just by staring at her calmed me.

"Nick wait up!" I turned around and saw my best friend Jane jogging after me.

"What do you want Jane?"

"Nick, what's wrong. You're usually not like that. What happened?" She asked. I have known her since we were just kids. We grew up together since our parents were business partners.

"Nothing Jane, just go back there." I said.

"Nonsense. Something's bothering you. I know coz I'm your best friend." She said. I was about to retort back but she cut me. "I know the real you. You didn't play with those girl's heart. The real you was caring and kind and most definitely not a player like Brad. It's just you always went with the flow so I just rode the current."

"You knew?"

"Of course! I'm your best friend. I'm actually hurt that you don't give me much credit."

"I'm sorry." I felt guilty for having to doubt my best friend. "How can I make it up to you?"

"No need Nick, this is what friends do. Don't worry, I'll tell James to delete that app." I nodded in appreciation and then the bell rang signalling the end of our lunch break. "See yah later!"

Emilia's POV

"It's great to see that you're eating something more nutritious than a plain sugar bun." I looked up and saw John sat beside me. "But still, here." Then he gave me a sandwich.
