Jon
"Sir, we will be arriving in Valyria in the next hour or so." He looked to the man who he remembered from Lyse a few weeks ago, he had offered him a place at his side and he took it. Lirant his name was, he was a little older than him but that never really mattered in the brotherhood.
"Thanks. Have you told X the same?" He asked the man shook his head and he knew that he probably told him first because he was 'the White Wolf'. Jon nodded understanding and offered him a small smile leaning on his desk. "Will you let X know for me. Make sure the men are ready and understand that this is not like any other place if they get lost they may die. We all stick together." He said. The man nodded after swallowing the news and walked from his room.
Jon slowly untucked the letter that had been read and re-read a hundred times, it now had a home in his desk drawer or breachers pocket. It felt good to have it close like the rest of the letters he had received from home. He really needed to go and see Captain Morton sometime soon, it had been nearly 2 years now. He shook the thought away and slowly took the letter from the envelope and unfolded it in his hands to read it again. He noticed how beautiful the words looked every time he read them, she must have taken her time to write it, he thought.
Jon Snow (Aegon),
It has been a while. The first and last time I saw you, you were a babe, with dark curls atop you pale head, dark grey eyes that held a hint of Violet in their depth. It has been over 17 years and still, I have never forgotten that little babe I held and made giggle.
I hear of tales of what that babe has become. The White Wolf, a great warrior, leader and swordsmen. I couldn't quite believe it when I heard it but then again I always believed you were destined for greatness. You are a king by right after all.
I am glad that you have become a capable man even growing up the way you did and I know Arthur will be proud of the man who now holds the great Dawn. I am proud myself. I hope to one day meet you and if this letter makes it to you then I have made the decision to give my aid to a person who needs it more.
Sending my love,
Ashara Dayne
He kicked himself every time he read the letter knowing that if he had been there he would have met her and her journey would have been for something rather then nothing. But what confused him more was the fact she was alive and no-one knew of it, not even his father. He signed knowing reading the letter again was getting him nowhere.
Jon stood and walked to the window of his cabin, the waves and deep blue ocean a calming image. There was noting only the ocean and the sky, he hated sailing but he loved the view the freeness that came with it. He took a deep breath letting himself relax for a moment before moving around his room to ready himself.
He tied his long hair back after brushing through it slowly. He has decided on having it all up giving that they were on a mission and he didn't want it getting in the way. He ran through his beard too to make sure it didn't look wild and it didn't he had it cut trimmed again before he left. He pushed his fingers through his slightly long chin hair. He walked over to his desk taking the holster he hung on the back of his chair and putting it on. He checked the top knife and counted all of them to see if they were all there. Once satisfied he walked over to the corner of his room and picked up his swords strapping them to his waist. He took a deep breath again once he was done feeling satisfied.
He heard a knock at his door and slowly opened his eyes to watch X pop his head through his door. Jon turned to him fully and gave him a smile as a greeting. "This one should be fun." He said walking around his room fidgeting as he always did. Jon rolled his eyes and sat at his desk just watching him. "You know, Martil told me not to come said it was too dangerous." He said it as if it wasn't.
