A/N: I will be having more Jonerys from here on out until this book is finished and we go to the next. This is just a little peace offering to those who had to wait so long. Hope you enjoy.

Aegon

He felt himself awaken slowly, his mind coming to its own awareness in at its own slow, groggy pace. His body fully aware of the burning heat pressed against him. The warm smooth skin pressed against his side, threatening to melt him alive as if she was fire itself. He would let himself burn if it meant holding her close. She was his fire now, he thought possessively.

His arm automatically pulled her tighter to him in a possessive manner, that made him realise he didn't want her to leave his side, ever. She was his now, he had claimed her and she was going nowhere that was not with him. He shook his head sounding like a creature who had marked a mate for his own. She was not his, she was her own woman and could choose whatever she wanted to do. Though there was still apart of him that wanted to mark her as his own, that wanted to warn over's away. He would kill any who looked at her, let alone touched her.

He sighed and opened his eyes in a small flutter of his lashes and a blinking of his lids, adjusting the darkness. There was a small amount of light falling into the tent, provided from the high moon. It was close to dawn, he could taste the crisp morning wind, could hear the creatures waking, readying themselves for the day. Those creatures were minus humans, which made it peacefully quite beside the calming melody of nature chiming all around. He had always woken up at Dawn, well he had no choice in the matter when he was young. Arya saw he was awoken at this time and it had stuck with him through the years, a little momentum one could say.

He looked down to Daenerys, she was lying on him, her body warding him off ever wanting to use a blanket or furs to keep him warm. Her cheek resting against his pectoral muscle, her face was peacefully relaxed. A first, he thought. In the whole time, he had known her, he had never seen her look so... young. So carefree and at peace. It was oddly heartwarming seeing her so defenceless, seeing her as Dany and not the Dragon Queen. He suspected there was a handful of people who had ever witnessed such a sight and it made him feel privileged to be one of them. She was a goddess and right now she was human.

She let out little puffs of air that made his skin tingle and warm, her hand resting right next to her face in the centre of his chest. Making her silver wisps brush against his skin, making his fingers itch to run through them. Her nimble fingers twitching slightly and pressing into the diamond in the middle of his chest. He couldn't help but smile down at her, his hand moving to brush through her silky, silver locks.

He wanted to just watch her for as long as he could, he wanted to hold her forever. To wake up to this site as long as he should live. For he knew if he did, he would be the happiest man who ever walked the planet. I will always protect you, Daenerys. He declared in his mind hoping his words would project into her own mind and she would understand just how much he adored her.

"Stop brooding." He heard her mumble, her eyes still shut and her face still showing signs she was still asleep. Her voice was groggy and small from sleep, it sounded so breathy he couldn't help but belive she was talking in her sleep.

He chuckled at her and shook his head. "I'm not." He whispered in return, hoping he had not just caught her in a dream or something.

He watched as her eyes fluttered open, her bright lilac eyes precious to witness. Her bearly open lids hiding them from view but it made her seem that more beautiful and young when she looked at him like that. Lazily, a small smile on her face that made the look seem almost sensual. "Liar." She whispered. He felt a current ripple down his spine hearing her speak. She could affect him only with words, it was almost frightening if not for the fact it was the same for her.
