Being abandoned by your fiancé, you were left with a six-year-old daughter. She loved your fiance and he loved her. But he disappeared when you had returned from filming SuperNatural. He had left your daughter with a friend of yours and when you had gotten home, all his stuff was gone. You were left so lost and confused. But, you didn't let it affect the way you would raise your daughter. You had to continue for her no matter what came your way.
I finally arrived back in Vancouver, BC. My second home. My daughter had accompanied me since no one wanted to babysit her for the time that I was going to be away. It had become harder to find someone to take care of her. But I was quite happy that I'd be spending some time with my daughter more. Cliff was coming to pick us up at the airport and while waiting, Bailey was pointing out everything that she'd recognized as my smile grew wider. I hadn't seen her so happy since my fiancé walked out on us. I see Cliff's car appear in the distance and I grip my suitcase and readjust Bailey's small backpack on my shoulder.
His car came into our sight and Bailey squealed. "Hi Uncle Cliff," she giggles as Cliff takes her into his arms. "Hey little monkey, you ready to go for a ride in Uncle Cliff's car?" "Yeah!" Cliff smiles and gives me a small side hug. He places Bailey in her car seat and helps me with my luggage. "I'm glad to see the little girl with you again. I've missed her," he tells me. "I'm sure she missed you too. She was so excited when I told her that you were coming." Cliff smiles widely.
I get in the passenger seat and Bailey is moving in her seat happily. She hadn't been to Vancouver in two years so she was quite excited. "Are we going to see Papaw Jim? And Uncles Robbie and Richie?!" Yep, she's excited. Jim Beaver is my adoptive father and I'm thankful for that man. As we drive to the set where we stay in our trailers, Bailey was playing iSpy with Cliff. I enjoyed every moment Bailey shared with the family Supernatural gave me. After a 20 minute drive, we had finally arrived. Bailey couldn't wait to get off the car and see everyone.
"I'll take your things to your trailer, Y/N/N. I think Bailey won't be able to wait to see everyone," Cliff laughs deeply. "You're right Cliff. Thank you," I chuckle. "Bye Uncle Cliff! Thank you for the ride! I'll see you later," Bailey says as she runs off, her doll flying behind her whilst in her hand. I try my best to catch up to her but I wasn't fast enough. Luckily she landed in my father's arms, giggling and laughing like never before. Her laughter makes my heart skip a beat. I approach them, out of breath of trying to catch her.
"Hi Dad," I say, trying to catch my breath. "She came running straight to Papaw, my dear. She missed me," Dad laughs. He hugs me and places a sweet kiss on my temple and says," I've missed you, Tart." "I've missed you too Dad. I haven't been able to visit you or Mads for that matter." "It's alright, Tart. I'm just glad I get to see the little munchkin again!" He tickles Bailey and she squeals.
Everyone starts to showing up behind Dad with a smile. One by one, everyone gave me a hug. I was so glad to be home where I feel welcome.
"Glad to have you back," I hear Jensen say. "Jenny!" Bailey shouts, squirming out of Dad's arms and rushing over to him. "Hey Bubs! How's my little troublemaker?" "Good! But I want to see Uncle Robbie and Richie!" "Well, little girl, you're in luck!" Bailey excitedly screamed. She felt so loved and it was too much for me to take in.
Jensen hands her over to Rob and they walk away. Seeing her happy after what happened just made my heart feel in peace. I know it's not going to be for a long time but, I can take what I get for her to be happy. Jensen comes over and hugs me tightly. Some tears roll down my cheeks and I hugged him tighter. I needed this hug for a while now. We exchanged no words. He soothingly rubs my back and places a kiss on the top of my head. His hugs felt like home.
