EXTENDED SUMMARY, kristen weasley was apart of a huge family. she had six brothers, seven if you count harry potter who she considered as her older brother, and her sister ginny, along with her parents. she wasn't the youngest but she was only a year younger than her older brother ron, who was extremely protective over his 'baby' sister and wouldn't let kristen near any of his friends besides hermione and especially kept her away from draco malfoy. kristen didn't like how overprotective ron was, but that was nothing compared to the twins. even if a guy so much as glanced at their baby sister they were, in their words 'dead', but kristen wouldn't let that happen. she sent a letter home to their mother who talked, more like yelled, to the boys about their protectiveness. although she loved all her siblings it got annoying, but percy let her be and live her life and wouldn't bother her unless needed. most people didn't even know that she was related to the weasleys. mostly because her eyes bright baby blue, like harry potter, they didn't know where she got her blue eyes from. but it was odd because when she was born she had signature brown weasley eyes but as she grew her eyes turned blue. it's now her fourth year at hogwarts and she's discovered that she is suffering from insomnia which makes it extremely hard for her to sleep and all her friends could do is playfully tease her about the dark circles under her eyes. except for neville longbottom because he knows exactly how it feels.

─ uwu neville plot bc neville is freaking adorable

─ anyways after a while ron finally does let her meet his friends ( of course she's already met harry ) but seamus, dean, neville ect. while seamus & dean are staring at her neville being the cinnamon roll he is introduces himself and his just very nice and polite to her

─ her best friend is luna, bc she is also a cinnamon roll.

─ also this an au!

─ so in the beginning she does have long hair but she had to cut it since the twins played a 'harmless' prank on her and slime or something got in her hair and she had to cut it, short

─ since neville & kristen have insomnia they both just go down to the common room. like "What're you doing up?" "Can't sleep, what about you?"

─ since they've never really talked before, like really talk, they start talking about just life and just get to know eachother

─ after a while neville starts to have a crush on her and is FREAKING TERRIFIED about ron or one of the twins finding out so he always tries to make it unnoticeable, which is hard to do when he blushes when she smiles at him

─ then neville could save her favorite muffins in the morning bc she sleeps through half of breakfast because her & him probably stayed up all night talking
seamus or someone: i thought you didn't like poppy muffins
neville: i don't
harry or someone: then why'd you get them?
neville: it's kristen's favorite and she slept through breakfast

─ soon enough hermione catches on to neville's crush and sees how happy and smiley kristen is despite her bags and hoe tired she is. so she tells ginny her suspicion

─ kristen is definitely the more confident one and usually flirts with neville. like sends him small winks and kisses his cheek. so her and neville could sneak out to go to the grass or something and they just look at stars and talk

─ when they walk back to the common room neville should move a bit of hair out of her eyes, without even noticing he did it ( like it was a reflex ) and after he notices he quickly says goodnight then zooms to the dorm and tried to get at least a couple of hours of sleep

─ then that's the moment that she realizes that she likes neville

─ okay well here's the angst: harry overhead hermione & ginny talking about nev & kris and he tells them that they should tell ron and then hermione is just like 'we're not telling ron anything' then ron just poofs out of nowhere and is just like 'tell ron what' and then ron finds out, tells the twins and they all talk to neville and scare him shitless

─ they all told him to stay away from their baby sister or he'd get a beating of a lifetime so then neville stops talking to kristen, stops stealing her muffins, and stops going to the common room at night. kris is just confused and extremely hurt and just sits alone in the common room in front of the fire

─ whenever kris tries to talk to neville he walks away, more like runs away, when he catches a glimpse of her then remembers what the twins & ron said.

─ ron & the twins don't realize how hurt she is by this, they're just trying to protect her.

─ hermione finally decides that enough is enough when kris looks like really really tired, and her eyes are puffy and her cheeks have tear stains. she and harry give each other a look and harry grabs ron by the arm dragging him to a classroom while hermione grabs the twins by their ears and then que hermione yelling at them

─ and when the boys try to argue that they're 'just protecting their baby sister' she tells them how miserable kris looks and how sad neville looks and how much he's dying to apologize to her. when they don't believe her she takes them to the doorway of the great hall where they all look at kris who had puffy eyes, tear stains, and dark circles under her eyes the ron & the twins feel guilty and they all apologize to neville
