(A/N: Hey, I'm back with another chapter! So, just in case if you're wondering why I had Dark catching the Snorlax from the last chapter, I have two reasons for it. One: as I established a couple of times, yeah, Dark wants to build a team similar to Blue's team. However, I also did mention that he will catch any Pokemon he thinks will help him with his goals of becoming champion. So, that's why he caught the Snorlax. The second reason is because I noticed there was a certain pattern for a while. Typically, whenever I write Light or Serena catching a new Pokemon, the other gets one at the same time and even at times the opposite gender. Now, some of you might think I should've let Shauna caught the Snorlax then, but that's not how Shauna is. Shauna isn't about brute strength or even endurance. So, that's another reason why Dark catching Snorlax makes sense in my head. If you think there could have been another solution, let me know in the comments and I'll see what I can do in the later chapters. Last time on Arceus's Chosen Protector and Poke Flute!: Light woke up in the middle of the night due to a mysterious voice wanting to talk to him about his destiny. After heading to the garden, a bright light took him to the Hall of Origin. After some small talk, Arceus revealed that he's the reason why Light could talk to Pokemon, due to him giving Light the status of being his chosen protector when the latter was an infant. Arceus also revealed why he gave Light that status plus the name of the one who took his father all those years ago.
When asked by Light about the mysterious voice and being sent through time, Arceus revealed that while he was aware of Light being sent through time, he wasn't the one who did nor does he know who did. He doesn't even know who the voice was. After sending Light back, with a amulet bearing his and Zygarde's mark, Light heads back to bed, unaware of a mysterious being watching him.
The next day, he, Shauna and Serena woke up the Snorlaxes only for the two Pokemon to be pissed. The two Snorlaxes rant about how their yearly three week sleep was interrupted(for more info, read Chapter 17). Seeing that they won't listen to reason, the three weakened the two, hoping to catch them and then convinced them.
However, Dark ruined things for Serena when he caught the male Snorlax, claiming it for himself. He then gloats about how it's all part of his plan to be champion, and threaten Light that the next time they encounter each other, they were battling. And he's gonna come out on top. As he left, Light promised that he not going down easily. Now the three head off to meet up with Trevor and Tierno.
What will happen to the male Snorlax? Will the female Snorlax, now known as Relax, be okay with her new life-style? Who was the mysterious being watching Light before leaving? And will I stop being so overworked by Arceus?(Arceus: No. Me: *Looks pissed and start making random arm movements* Phillip. *Arceus looks dumbfounded for a moment before zapping the author[me]* Arceus: My name is Arceus.
