The guys are still out, Cam hasn't returned & John is still in his room. I had nothing else to do, I've already played games, talked with my friends, took a shower, watched tv...

Welp here goes nothing

I went outside and grabbed a blunt from the boys stash. I stood out in the yard looking at the sky.

Sky was clear, no clouds, just the bright yellow sun and the blue reflection of the water.

As I gazed through my thoughts, I started to think bout my mom and how she loved sunny days whether she was sad or happy. She enjoyed life.

My train of thought got cut out once John came outside.

John: Mind if I join ?
Me: *my back facing him* Nah, here. *sticks out blunt towards him*
John: I'll pass thanks. *smiles*
Me: So whats up ?
John: Nothing much, i was just drained of playing games, wanted to get out of my room for once.
Me: You ain't the only one.
John: You never left ?
Me: Nope.
John: Why ?
Me: Didnt want to leave you alone feeling like this, or leaving you alone in general.
John: *light scoff* Thanks

I nodded my head and stomped on the blunt, indicating I was finished. I sat down at the couch and put my feet on the center table.

Me: How you holding up ?
John: Im fine now. Better than before.
Me: That's good !
John: So how long u staying ?
Me: Umm Im not sure honestly, couple weeks I guess, probably come and visit here and there.
John: Cool, it's nice having you here, haven't seen each other well since you moved to Australia.
Me: Yea. *smiles. I was planing to go to England instead but Australia got the best of me.
John: It was a good choice to pick Australia because then u wouldn't have met Cam and the rest.
Me: True, but I would've still met them at some point...like today, if we never met at Australia we would've met here !
John: Yea, but would be close to them as a sister like you right now if you met them today ?
Me: No...

Minute after I heard footsteps from the inside. I turned around and saw Cam with Kendra heading out where we were. Following them were the rest of the boys.

Cam: We were looking for you guys.
Me: Well you found us !
Cam: Thanks captain obvious *chuckles*

He says as he side hugs me.

John: I'm gonna head up stairs and finish editing my video. See u guys in a bit.
Me: Can I come with ?

Everything went silent. I looked around and saw Cam given me the look of " yea I know what you're really up to" but I didn't mean it like that I just want to keep him company.

John: Sure ! *smiles*.

CAM'S P.O.V

I don't know why y/n is so stubborn. In a good way.

Me: She always sticks like glue when John's around.
Toby: You out of all people should know why. They've been friends since babies. His own family took her in when she had no one.
Me: Oh come on guys, i can't be the only one noticing.
Mason: Noticing what mate ?
Me: She's gotta thing for John.
Jay: Nah, impossible man. Not once has she told any of us.
Toby: True, she tells us anything.
Kendra: *whispers to self but quite noticeable* Please don't tell me you guys are this dumb.
Mason: Yea so what if we are. What does it have to do with y/n ?
Kendra: You are a bunch of guys ! A girl will never tell a guy friend that she likes A GUY!!
Toby: But she trusts us. Always told us her shit.
Kendra: But when it comes to a guys does she ever go to you guys for advice ?

All of us went silent.

Kendra: Has she went up to any one of you and asked how to approach a guy. No ? Has she ever even mentioned once that she had a boyfriend to you guys ? Has she ever-
Me: Babe okay we get it. No she hasn't, you're right.
Kendra: thank you. *smiles*
Me: Well then you go talk to her. *kisses forehead*. Me and the guys are gonna go watch some tv.
Kendra: Okay. *smiles*

As me and the guys made our way to the couch, Kendra made her way upstairs.

ORIGINAL P.O.V

I have done nothing but listened to music with John while he edits. We have small talk here and there but then goes back to editing. I don't have a problem with it he's doing his job. I focus on the light he had in his room. I was playing around with the remote to change its colors. Blue, then red, then green, then yellow. I changed it back to red it looked nice, goes with his room. I got up from the chair and wondered around his room. I went to his shelf and looked around. I had my hands behind my back to stop myself from getting his values. He had rings, play button, pop vinyls, and pictures. His closet, a mess like always. But other than that, he's living his best life.

Knock knock

Me: I'll get it.

I got up and opened the door just a bit.

Me: Hey what's up !
Kendra: Can I y'all to for a bit ?
Me: Yea sure, let's go to my room.

Before I closed the door I heard John say:
But you're coming back right?
Me: I will !

And closed the door behind me. We walked into my room. She sat down on the edge of the bed where as I stayed up.

Me: So what you want to talk about ? *smiles*.
Kendra: Cam wanted me to talk to you about-

Here we go again.

Me: Let me guess John. *sighs*.
Kendra: How'd you-
Me: I live in a house with a bunch of guys who may I add knows John, oh and get this, knows our past, so long story short, they always tease me and joke around about me being with John.
Kendra: Wow. You- I-, well-, *fake coughs* That was literally- well, my question was if you liked him.
Me: Noo... I don't.

Why is my heart beating fast ? I'm telling the truth ! I don't have feelings for him.

Kendra: Mhm sure you don't. *smiles*
Me: Kendra I'm serious, I...I...I don't !

I say as she walks out of the room.

I walked out and went back to John.
