Moving In

Asami's POV

"Asa-nee! Wake up!" I grumbled as the sound of my younger sister's voice filled my ears. Why do I have this sudden feeling of  déjà vu? 

"Did you pack all of your things since we're moving out tomorrow?" I heard Ema ask.

"Yeah... I did it last night..." I said, remembering packing all of my things.

"THEN HOW COME ALL OF YOUR STUFF IS STREWN ALL OVER THE FLOOR???" Ema yelled at me.

"Wahhhhhh!!! Ono it was all a dream!!!" I scrambled out of bed, tripped over my suitcase, and faceplanted on the ground.

"Now go pack!" Ema chided, hitting me on the head. "And don't come out until you're done packing!"

I slowly crawled into a sitting position. Why is fate so cruel to me?

But...

Since Ema isn't watching me...

I can play Pokémon!!! I reached for my 3DS to find that...

IT'S MISSING!!!

"Looking for this?" Ema said evilly, opening the door and waving my 3DS in front of my face.

"Goodbye... happiness," I mumbled before falling onto the floor.

I finally finished packing and my stomach was growling loudly from my lack of food. How can Ema be so cruel??? I walked out of my room to find Ema relaxing on the couch, eating chips and ice cream and watching TV.

That's it. My life has no meaning anymore. Screw my dignity. 

"Ema... I feel terrible... Like I'm going to die..."

"Oh no!!! Asa-nee? Are you okay? Here, why don't I make you some ramen to make you feel better!"

"Th-thank y-you... Ema..." I whispered hoarsely. 

"I'm so sorry!!! Oh no oh no... what if I accidentally killed her?!" She clutched the top of her head while frantically placing a blanket over me. "Wahhhhhh!!! Gomen! Gomen!" 

Ema ran out of the room and into the kitchen while I relaxed on the couch and watched TV , snacking on chips and ice cream. Little sisters are the best, aren't they?

Hey guys! That little short was completely unrelated to anything but sorta helps show their relationship with one another... The rest of the chapter will be ACTUALLY about moving in!

"Hey, Ema! Where'd Juli go?" I asked, wondering where her (pretty crazy) pet squirrel went.

And Juli makes an appearance!!!

"Hey, Mi-tan! How are you? No wolves have tried to attack you yet, have they?" I heard the fluffy grey squirrel squeak from the top of the table.

"Hey, Juli! I'm doing great," I laughed. "And so far no wolves have tried to attack me yet."

"Good! If they did, I'd make sure to end their pitiful lives right then and there!"
