You can start by making the backstory and then fill in the four other basics with what you think would fit or you could start by filling the other four and then the backstory. While doing so, make sure that the design fits the backstory, don't give someone a scar unless it plays a role or a fun fact about your character, for example, maybe the character was a soldier, so that means he was in the military or maybe the character simply fell into a sharp object as a child. Also don't give your character an english name unless the character is english or american. Don't name him john if he is from Japan and the other way around, if you don't know a name that fits the country you want him to come from just search "Most popular Japanese names" and that's the end of it. Other solutions would be to make your characters come from a country that doesn't exist for example my character Scarlet comes from Charnobil, or you could give a meaning behind their name, for example "Kamen" which in japanize it means "Masked". Know how to name your character, but you can't find a name to give them, here have a small list of names 7 female❤, 7 male💙 and 1 unisex💜:

Now, i know i said i was going to talk about personalities, but, i thought that talking about personalities without first speaking about names is going to be a little boring.
And before you actually deside which name to give your character you probably should wait till the next chapter is going to get updated because we are going to talk about nicknames and name meanings and how well they can fit you character if you desisde carefully.
