I sat in the basement with my 6 best friends. It was Christmas Eve and we were all excited.

Or at least I was.

I was also nervous.

My best friend in the group, Donna, suggested that I make a move on Hyde tonight.

Everyone in the group knows I have a thing for him, hell, he even knows I have a thing for him.

I'm always pining after him and being an idiot all because I'm in love with a certain government hating boy.

Donna and Eric were making out, as well as Jackie and Kelso. Even Fez had a couple girls on him.

"So Hyde, seems like we should jump the bandwagon" I suggested.

"I'm good." He drank his beer.

"Come on, I know you're bored." I walked over to him and straddled him.

I whispered into his ear. "Are you sure?"

I felt Hyde harden beneath me.

"Yes. Now get off of me Forman." He said sternly.

"Hyde-"

"I said get off."

I sighed and got off.

"Sorry."

I walked upstairs and saw my mom.

"Hey mom, is it okay if I grab my jacket? It's cold outside and I wanna look at the stars."

"Yeah sure honey, it over on the counter in the kitchen."

I said thank you and grabbed my Jacket.

I then laid on the hood of the Vista Cruiser.

The stars are always beautiful.

After a little bit, I went back down to the basement, but stopped when I saw Hyde making out with Christina Winters.

I took a deep breath and entered anyway.

"Y/n, where'd you go? We were worried about you." Eric said aloud.

"Clearly not worried enough to leave the basement. I was in the driveway." I said while getting a cup of moms punch.

I took a sip and listened to him and Jackie.

"Why were you in the driveway."

"Because, Eric, I didn't want to see that." I pointed over to Hyde and Christina.

I stared at them sadly.

"I've wasted ten years of my life on that guy. Ten years going after someone who doesn't want me. He treats me like shit and I still love him. What the hell is wrong with me!?" I said a little too loudly.

Everyone stared at me.

"I can't do this anymore." My voice broke.

I ran outside and then back inside through the front door.

I went up to my room and cried myself to sleep.

Around 2 in the morning, I was awoken by who I thought was Eric.

"I'm sorry for ruining your party Eric... nobody likes an emotional buzzkill."

"Y/n, it's Hyde."

"Oh. Hey Steven." I turned my lamp on and sat up.

"You don't love me, y/n. You might think you do. But you don't. I'm not the type of guy you deserve, so you can't love me."

"Why do you think that I don't deserve you Steven?" I asked, pushing my hair behind my ear.

"I'm nothing. I'm not going to have a good job. I'm not going to be a perfect husband or dad. I don't do well in school. I have nothing in my corner, y/n. But you... you're a straight A student. You're going to make a great wife and mother. You're going to get an amazing job and move into the city. We're just not compatible."

"You're right..."

I saw his face get sadder.

"I am a straight A student. I will make an amazing mom and wife one day. I will have an amazing job. And I will come home to my husband and two kids..."

He nodded and started to get up. I grabbed his wrist.

"But you're wrong about yourself, Hyde. You might not get good grades or have a good job. But it won't matter. Because when I step into my house after a long day of work; I want it to be you that I come home to everyday. I want you to be a good father. You WILL be a good father, Hyde. Because you know exactly what not to do. And when I get home every evening, I want you to ask me how work was. Or how I am. And then I want to make dinner for our family, watch movies and at 7 o'clock, when the kids go to sleep, You and I do our own nightly activities."

I grabbed his jacket and pulled his lips onto mine.

He brought his hand to my hair and we flipped, so I was on top and he was on bottom.

I started grinding on him, feeling him harden once more.

"God you're so hot." He mumbled.

I connected our lips once more.

He bit my bottom lip, causing a moan to escape.

He started unbuckling his pants and we heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Shit. Shh." I got off of him, laid down next to him, and he put his arm around me.

When the door opened, we closed our eyes and pretended to be asleep.

We heard an audible "aw" from my mom before she closed the door.

I opened my eyes and looked up at Hyde, who's eyes were still closed.

I kissed his lips softly.

"Steven, she's gone." I giggled.

He didn't open his eyes.

"Aw you passed out." I said happily.

I stared at him for a moment.

"Ten years was definitely worth it." I whispered and softly kissed his cheek goodnight.

"Goodnight Steven Hyde. I love you."

"Goodnight Y/n. I love you too." He smiled with his eyes still shut.

I lightly hit his chest.

"You're a dingus."

He pushed his lips against mine.

"Yeah but you love it."

"I do."
