^ I made this video for Suicide Prevention Awareness Week, but couldn't get the music recorded in time (btw listen on low volume cuz audio sucks). If you want to read the storyline, it's in the description of the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JR0QRwF7h8Q.

~~Adrien's POV~~

Marinette takes my hand and leads me outside.

"We're not going back to my house, are we?" I clarify with obvious worry in my tone.

"No, silly. You like croissants, right?"

I nod enthusiastically. "Who doesn't?"

She laughs. I don't know why, but I love the sound.

After a few minutes of walking, we finally arrive at a bakery. Her bakery. Well, it's technically her family's, but still.

She pushes open the doors, and walks into the bakery. I take a deep breath in, and sign peacefully. It smells delicious in here.

"Good afternoon, Maman," she greets her mother.

"Mari! Is it lunch time already?"

"Yeah. And look, I brought a friend," she said, gesturing to me.

"Adrien! So good to see you."

"Hi, Mrs. Dupain-Cheng."

"Oh, don't call me that. Sabine is just fine."

I smile, and she returns the gesture.

"Are you two hungry? Tom and I made some croissants earlier."

"Sure, Maman. Do you need any help here?"

"Nonsense. Now go let Adrien eat!"

"Those were really good," I say, finishing off my third one.

"I'm glad you like them," she laughs. There's that sound again... it's like music to my ears.

"Are you ready to go back to school?" She asks.

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Alright, lets get going. We don't want to be late!"
