MARK

Mark smiled as he reads through Donghyuck's posts, catching up on all he's been doing since he stepped foot in Japan. In his captions he'd written about how beautiful the cherry blossoms were, how he'd seen this really cute dog one day, how Taeil bought him so many sweet treats all because he couldn't believe how pink all the food they came across were. He also wrote about some of their more amusing outings, such as getting lost in one of the nighttime markets so Taeyong had to ask a rather large and scary woman with a loud voice to yell for him, to when they somehow ended up in a haunted/horror house- with that story he also attached a short audio clip of constant high pitched screaming which had Mark doubled over, tears streaming down his face as he laughed uncontrollably so.

Mark clicks on his messages, and immediately goes to the selfie Donghyuck sent him before boarding the plane.

He traces the lines of Donghyuck's face, his thumb following the boy's jawline, before clicking to save the photo.

He was just about to scroll back through their conversation when another message pops up.

Mark curses under his breath.

That was tonight?

He was so preoccupied today that he completely forgot about his teammate's house party. An ugly feeling begins to spread in Mark's stomach as he promised both Jeno and Minho he'd be there to help set up.
