Unbreakable bond

When Norman opened his eyes Emma was no longer there. When he closed his ocean eyes, the last picture on his mind was her standing by his side, holding his hand just like he asked after the kiss they shared

" Can you stay and hold my hand... Emma?"

" Sure "

And that's how he slept without any nightmares, peacefully like he haven't sleep for years. He looked at his hand there once, Emma's hand was.

She told she would bring him with her no matter what...and there was no point in trying to move her from her goal

* If she wants me to go with her...I have to walk!*

When Norman set his weak feet on the ground, he could still feel his lungs burning. After all he had that terrible convulsion 2 hours ago. But at least, he was able to stand

" Man...this is so ward"

He said as he collapsed from tiredness in the nursery bed. He knew he could force himself that much, or else...

* Emma would kick me if she was to see me forcing myself*

As he looked at the bandage she carefully put on his arm, some minutes ago, Norman rest his head on the fluffy pillow and feel asleep once again

* Where is Emma? How is the plan going? They were supposed to leave tomorrow to the Seven Walls...*

Meanwhile, as Norman's mind wondered Emma was heading to the lunch room, where everyone was having a fun time together

" Hi everyone! Hi Ray! Hi Anna!"

" Hi Emma!" 

Anna was puting the dishes along with Gillian and Nigel as Ray finished cooking with Hayato, Zack and Oliver's help. After all, cooking for 60 persons was a lot of work

" Hi Emma! Did Norman already talked to Vincent, Barbara and Cisclo? Did you see him?"

Emma broke her smile and Ray understood something was wrong, but he didn't asked. They would have enough time to talk when they started eating. Gilda and Don called everyone to the table and when everything was ready they all started eating without holding back

" Thank you for the food!"

" So Emma... what happened? Is it the plan?"

" No Ray... it's about Norman"

Ray sighted as Emma laced her fingers, after dinging her fork into her plate full of meat and lettuce. That wasn't good news...

" What about that idiot? Did he talked with them or not?"

" That's not the point Ray! Norman is severely sick! He is having convolutions and he is coughing a lot of blood!"

Ray widen his eyes. He couldn't bealive what he was hearing. Unable to stay still Ray got up in a brusque movement, calling the attention of the whole room

" I CAN'T BELIEVE HE LIED TO US AGAIN!? Now! Tell me where he is so I can punch him on the face Emma!"

" WHAT!? I'm not letting you punch him in his state Ray! Back off and stay quiet!"

Emma smiled to everyone. Ray wasn't making it easy for her. They could afford to tell that to everyone: it would cause a mass panic and that was that they were trying to avoid. Even so Anna, Gilda and Don got curious.

" It's ok everyone! Continue on eating and fill your stomachs!"

The were almost certain of the person they were talking about so they followed with their eyes, Emma pulling Ray by his arm out of te room
