" Emma...what is going on?"

" Norman! You were right! This is a trap! Can you hear me? You fainted in my arms? How are your lungs?"

" I think I'm fine...sorry I collapsed and was a dead weight to you, Emma"

" What? Don't say that Norman...You protect me so many times before and gave up your body to protect me! We need to get out of here"

Norman raised his body. With Emma's help he was able to stand again. When he looked at himself he was covered in blood. Noticing that, Emma hurried to clean him with her own jacket. She was troubled as well. She was so angry

" Emma...don't tell me...this blood...who?"

" Well, Barbara was the one who got hurt...she shield me and you when a huge demon jumped out of dark. She lost one arm, but I think Vincent is already treating her wound so she won't die from blood loss"

Norman widen his eyes. Barbara did what? After looking and trying to adjust the vision he lost for a couple of minutes, he saw Vicent puting stitches on Barbara's arm. Without knowing why, tears came to his eyes and he was so moved by his feelings that he asked for his legs to walk

And they did walk with Emma's help. How beautiful was her smile: she understood what he wanted to do. She always did after all...she knew his feeling better than himself. Norman stood tall and Barbara looked at him. She lowered her eyes at the sight of a god

At the sight of someone she betrayed when he gave her his hand- a Fail boy as white as snow was now a shining prince as delicate as the moonlight

" Boss...look I'm sorry I-"

" It's all right Barbara, I forgive you. After all I should be the one to apologize: I never meant to be so rude to you, so please, your life and well being matters to me. Don't trow your body and life away when you have so many people you can rely on!"

Cisclo and Vincent looked at Norman. Even so frail, even bareally standing in his own feet there was something about his presence that made them so calm and peaceful, even in a environment like that, dark and full of skulls. There was something about him that made them safe even if Norman wasn't able to fight.

" That's right Barbara! Please consider our feelings as well! We want to help Boss and Emma and everyone else! We can go to the human world and live there if it's only for a little of time"

" Cisclo is right. If you fight so recklessly you won't be able to protect Boss nor Emma. You should be more wise sometimes Barbara, even if you did the right thing"

Barbara herself was in the verge of tears. When she started to talk the words she keep for herself since the day she pointed a knife at Emma's neck, Norman held her in a hug. Without moving Barbara cried like a baby

" Boss...I'm so sorry...It's...It's our fault that you-...Emma she is... I didn't mean too"

" I know you didn't...I know you had reasons to do so...rest and don't worry. Do you think you can go on with us, and let us protect us too?"

Barbara smiled: The knew that she was seeing. She glimpsed over to Emma and smiled at her. The Boss she knew wasn't like that before, because Emma wasn't there. Even if he was her saviour he was so far from reach...now he reached out for her and she cloud feel his weak heart beat against her shoulder
